I saw Steve Kimock play in Newport, KY somewhere around 2000-01 at the Southgate House with an old friend and thought it was close to a perfect concert experience. Laid back, with serious energy and commitment to playing each note. This is close to the feeling I got that evening. Big fan.
Wow! A fantastic version of a great song. I completely enjoyed hearing it, thanks for posting. It makes me miss Zero all the more. I remember driving 11 hrs each way from Madison,WI to Fayetteville,AR to see them.... easier than driving all the way to the bay area..... The next year we went to Fayetteville for a multievening event. It was my birthday and my old lady made it a great great few days.... forever a fine memory, thanks to all who made it happen.
The golden days of the jam scene where one legend has a another legend sitting in any given night. I met Bernie Worell once at a local record shop after a in-store performance that I missed by the time I walked in with a pile of cds to trade for a ticket to Bernies show in a few hrs! The guy goes "Bernies right over there" behind us, and he shook my hand I told him the story and he loved it. It was a heater at Water St Music Hall he was a one and only player!
This is so sweet. My wife and I were visiting her brother in San Fran and made the journey north to catch this show. Had no clue they were filming, which begs the question.... Where can I find the entire show? Awesome work, fellas!
It apparently fell out and he taped it down just for the show and subsequently to his pleasure noticed that the tone increased so he left it and just put more tape to hold it for good
This manimal uses a homemade lipstick contraption all the other Jerry wannabes use a PRS..... Jerry understood the power of good tone timing and most importantly DONT BE BORING!!! FUUUUHHHHHHH
Gotta respect the legend’s
So good. It gets better every time I hear it!
Big Zero Band Fan from the Great American music Hall days
In the city. Love His guitar work and all his music 🎶. Thank you Steve Kimock

Ive only seen him 2 times that I remember and that is exactly what he delivered. The Stella Blue from Trips Farm is great.
One of my favorite SK tunes in the universe.
Awesome all the way through.. 8:04 on is pure bliss
Incarnation of Divine music

Bernie walked in and sat in with our friend's band in NJ. It was easily one of the coolest things I've ever witnessed.
I'll never forget Martin's tenor.
Bernie is the man!
Bernie was such a machine. RIP
Rest In Peace Bernie Worrell!!!

Do miss that silence of the tenor sax but I can still, hear it a bit.
Jerrys favorite guitar player ....
Move over make room at the top cause Kimock's here.
stains my heat.
This is beautiful! Why there tape over part of the bridge and neck pickups?
William Nasser So he doesn’t cut himself. There are some sharp edges there.
It apparently fell out and he taped it down just for the show and subsequently to his pleasure noticed that the tone increased so he left it and just put more tape to hold it for good
What kind of guitar does he use on the slide part
It’s an old Supro Ozark
Sweetness - something about the little toaster's style that just kills me :)
Put them lipstick pickups in that Strat boy. Zero me out of here.
the drummer plays too soft when the music gets louder, he has very good feel but no power enough¡¡
Called jazz
This manimal uses a homemade lipstick contraption all the other Jerry wannabes use a PRS..... Jerry understood the power of good tone timing and most importantly DONT BE BORING!!! FUUUUHHHHHHH
Who is the fuckstick? You cant possibly mean Kimock?
I can't tell if this is a compliment or a complaint 🤣
