Great podcast once again. I love hearing both of your creative thoughts and ideas. You can feel the love and passion both of you have for comics and comic book media. I think what they're doing with Knull is that they're going to make him the main villain of the next Spider-man movie. Like at the end of Venom 3 they'll have Eddie going over to the MCU and teaming up with Tom Holland's Spider-man and the other Sony movie characters to take down Knull. I don't like it, but it does seem like the direction they're going. It's absolute nonsense but so is 90% of Sony's Marvel movies. After the next Spider-man movie, there should be Avengers: Devil's Reign. Like they've been setting up Kingpin with Hawkeye, Echo and Daredevil. And having the Thunderbolts included soon, it feels like a perfect set up for a Devil's Reign inspired story. In the Thunderbolts team they could add characters like Baron Zemo, Scorpion, Shocker, Abomination and Justin Hammer (have him make Kingpin's task-force new suits). With the Avengers team having Captain America, Spider-man, Daredevil, She-Hulk, Hulk, War Machine, Bucky, Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Iron Heart, Echo, Antman, Wasp, Fantastic 4 and the Netflix Defenders. Keeping it more of a Street Level Avengers movie. Have Captain America, Spider-man, Daredevil, Echo and Bucky be the main focuses in the movie. With the Post Credit scenes, they can tease the Sinister 6, a potential Defenders project and Young Avengers again or whatever.
@@poorisheffort Devil’s Reign would be so fun. Doubt they’d ever do it in the movies though, probably more a D+ thing. The current Thunderbolts roster wouldn’t make sense with Kingpin’s Thunderbolts which is why I made it a spinoff of Sinister Six, but maybe the Thunderbolt roster changes after the movie. The current roster seems more anti-hero whereas Kingpin’s is more villainy. Interested to see what they do with Knull. Donny Cates’s tweets about the script he read seems to imply it’ll be good but he’s a biased opinion so I guess we’ll see in a couple short weeks! Thanks for watching & commenting 🫡
no way home was pretty poor writing outside of the aunt may stuff, i agree with you because it basically means tom's spider-man can't get his own doc oc or osborne without some really annoying stretches writing the mcu versions
Really enjoyed your guys takes on a FF & Spidey film. I would watch both :)

This was a great episode! IMO..
Let Doom capture Surfer, and escape Galactus and the FF. Then end it the way you did. Thanks guys 🙏
The thought of the FF end credit scene being a joyful birth juxtaposed with an ominous tone would be incredible! That gave me chills

also joker sucked, the batman was an anomaly, and folie a deux seems to be getting panned...
