For me, the smell of Zara for him red edition is more similar smell to Thomas Kosmala No.4 EDP Elixir. it’s a niche fragrance if you don’t know it. Thank me later!
phenomenal longevity and sillage!! However it turns too ambery sweet on me , making me kinda dizzy after a while.

Bought this at your recommendation, and I'm way pleased. It does imitate BR, as well as Montale "Sensual Instinct." Absolutely great scent, and mine came with 100ml cologne body spray too!!! ✌️
Does it last on you?
@ Yes.....I've only used it once, but it gave me about three hours of decent scent bubble and moderate projection, and another hour or two of skin scent after that. (Thinking about it it was more like another three or four hours of skin scent).
I must admit to being an over sprayer, and I got that performance from about eight sprays!! It's not a beast, but for the price it's an excellent fragrance. Smells VERY nice indeed provided you like very sweet, light, musky, powdery scents.
How many hours does it last???
@@abe9112 I overspray......and with approx 8 sprays I got around three hours of moderate projection and scent bubble, followed by another three hours or so of decent skin scent.
The best things about this scent are that it's very inexpensive considering the quality of the scent, and for me at least, the smell is very, very nice indeed. I own Montale " Sensual Night" and I'm unable to tell the difference between them in terms of scent. Montale however lasts approx 10+ hours, with massive projection, though it costs nearly five times as much!!!
@@philjones6054 What's the batch date or code of your bottle. Some are saying the most recent bottles aren't the greatest performers.

I bought my 1st Zara fragrance last month, and normally like sweet, woody, spicy notes, and my go to’s are Dior Homme Intense, Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka, besides the discontinued Jean Paul Gaultier 2, and they are all heavy and in your face, yet this is the 1st time a fragrance made me nauseous, gave me heavy migraines etc. due to some sickly sweet synthetic note/ingredients I’ve never smelled before. Reminds me of burnt tire or something. Now that I’ve worn in a fee time it’s growing on me, but without that sickly explosion in the opening it would have been a great vanilla fragrance overall. Still it was a blind buy due to reviews. Luckily was very cheap so didn’t break the bank. Never smelled BKR, but smelled the For Him Red Edition in store yesterday and it smelled really good. That and this other fragrance was the only two I liked snd found interesting, the rest medicine cabinet and generic scents.

I recently bought this. The performance is really bad….!!!!? Is it just me
I get great performance
i bought one last august and i had the same experience, so i stopped wearing it for a few months. i started wearing it recently and it’s performance has been great. I’ve heard that because Zara produces fragrances so much it doesn’t allow the fragrance to Macerate. Not too sure how true that is but letting mine sit for a few months seemed like it improved its performance by a good amount!
That is what I have just bought nut I prefer the red edition intense....

What's the batch code of your bottle and did you recently buy it? The latest Fragrantica reviews complain about performance. Many people get dentist's office vibes from BR540 but in a good way that sort of becomes intoxicating! Have you smelled Zara's new Imperial Purple and Sand Desert at Sunset? The perfumer for the latter is Benoist Lapouza and he's also the perfumer for Angels Share. Many say that Sand Desert at Sunset smells like Angels Share without the cognac note.

@@EverymanFragrances everyone were hyping it up so i bought it as soon as i sprayed it on the smell was not pleasant at all and it also gave me headaches

I would apply some vaselin on my neck and then spray it on , it helps to last longer.
