In 2012 a man working on an East London Fish stall, named Muhammad Shahid Nazir, went viral when someone filmed him singing the catchy One Pound Fish song to entice customers to buy his fish and uploaded the video to RUclips,
The One Pound Fish Man then made an appearance on British TV Show X Factor and eventually signed a record deal with Warner Records, which resulted in the release of the official 1 Pound Fish song internationally.
But where is the One Pound Fish Man now? What happened to the One Pound Fish Man? In this third instalment of the Unchained Podcast, Shak Warner speaks to the One Pound Fish Man, who currently resides in Pakistan, to hear his story on how he went viral, why he wasn't allowed back into the UK and what life has been like since.
