Okay; first of all, duh, she is home alone and keeps the door unlocked??? Then, when she checks the sliding doors later, and the one door is slid open, she doesn't even question why. This made no sense.
When I'm home alone, I don't act like this girl. I lock all the doors and windows, and If I found that one of the windows is open, I'm grabbing the biggest knife I have, then I call the police.
In case someone were to break into my house, my plan has always remained the same - grab car keys and phone, run out the house, get into car and lock the doors and finally call the cops. If I went over to my neighbors, they probably wouldn't open the door if someone broke into my house at night, they'd think I was some demonic entity trying to get into their houses. 🤣
That someone would break into my house would anger me in the extreme and as I have no guns but many large knives very sharp and I know my house where everything is and I’m not the best house keeper so I also know where all the misc on the floors is and I have no issue poking holes in you while you trip over my excellent house keeping skills besides I have to protect my giant dogs from all harm no matter what I like to think that a a touch of bat shit crazy will hopefully do the trick
People that have no window shades/curtains deserve to have intruders in their homes because they want all to see how secure they are by thinking everyone wants to view them doing everyday crap and even in the crapper.
home alone door that was closed now open and the knife was gone no one is that stupid i mean come on overall not bad but the stupidity makes me root for the killer
Many people who live around in our area don't ever close their curtains. I do cus when I was 20 I had a guy come into my garage and was watching me changing clothes in the bathroom. I turned to see him duck down. My boyfriend went outside and threaten who ran off. Ever since then I keep my curtain closes day and night. I woke up one morning to find the sliding patio door had been unlocked and was partially open. Only thing that kept them out was I put a block of wood in between the sliding glass doors. My husband put dead bolts on both our patio doors. I check out door locks twice before I go to bed. I had a guy knock on our door but quickly ran off next door. A hour later I heard a loud pounding on our front door. It was the police checking to see if anyone had broken into our house. The house next door had been broken into.
This is good considering the fact that it was filmed with just an iPhone and a tripod in a day with no budget. Keep up the good work. You'll get better!
Nice ending, as the viewers are moved away from the well lighted home, and a good selection of music to end it with. The ending leaves one to think she knew the intruder as she looked at him/her.
First of all let me state that because you live in a decent neighborhood doesn't mean it can't happen to you, second of all at night when you're home alone before it gets night lock all of your door sliding doors windows everything close your blinds. And if you have a firearm in your home alone keep the firearm next to you if you get up and go to another room take the firearm with you do not go anywhere in the house without the firearm with you. Hint hint that's how I do it in my home because I live alone.
Whenever I get scared at a movie, I usually focus on whatever I see that is unrealistic. Not very easy for this one :) Although, more of a thriller than horror... not very scary lol
But what about the poor ignored vegetables in the kitchen? If she had just gotten her dinner ready and eaten instead of suddenly taking a shower for no reason, the guy would not have come into the house unnoticed and maybe nothing would have happened. But despite some "why is she doing that?"-Moments like that and the fact that she completely dried in exactly 10 seconds it's not a bad film.
Great film! I especially loved the footage you got from iPhone. Did you use Filmic Pro for the shooting? Did you use a denoiser? Because to film with an iPhone in almost complete darkness, and not have any noise/fuzziness is pretty impressive.
What young girl takes a shower and then puts her soiled clothes back on, including her bra (I was watching THAT very closely,) and then crawls into bed? Highly disappointing video.
+miller17 Thanks! I shot the entire film on my iPhone using the app Filmic Pro (which allowed me to choose the aspect ratio I wanted), and then edited and colour graded on Premiere Pro. :)
Fuck me, she looks about 40! Yes always with the dark windows... I don't like seeing them from either side... I always think I will see something horrible looking out of in depending on where I am. Creepy to the max!
With knowing it was done with no budget, on an iPhone and tripod -- the visuals were exceptionally well done. However, the storyline is overly used and not interesting. Just think how a reasonable person would react vs. the actress in this film. She hears something outside -- looks out but do not bother to lock the doors??? Instead, start to cut up veggies with the largest knife in the house -- but goes upstairs after checking noise by looking through windows with lights on behind her into the dark -- yeah that actually doesn't work. After that goes to take a shower with doors still unlocked and one slightly opened. You have a good eye for filming -- you just need a good writter.
I think you’re a fan of the movie “shining” coz i could recognize a lotta elements that jogged my memory to it. If so, amazing topic, the vibe, the atmosphere is pretty intense. By all means, there’s some incoherence besides errors but in the end it turned out to be the greatest choice
why is it that every one in horror movies have their windows open so the killer can look in and kill every body???? if you can see out they can see in,
bro bruh why don't anybody have locks on there doors and ten somebody tries to get in there home it would be lock but if they tried to break the glass they would get hurt and not the one who lives there?
Some of the story elements needed work and the sound was inconsistent, but nice job with the ending. Too many rely on the jump scare at the end of their films to close things. It kind of reminded me of a scene from "Frenzy" by Hitchcock. I was really impressed with a lot of the camerawork as well. Nice job and keep it going.
Too many loop holes in the script🙄...she didn't even think fr a while how the balcony door ws open wen she hd alrdy checked it once bfr going fr shower nd then she closes it again,, she didn't seem to be surprised at all not to see her knife on the kitchen board. Such big windows wthout curtains or blinds.. how one can live like that. Especially at night, it ll feel so eerie as if the entire world is looking thru my windows...background score ws good bt too loud i felt. In all, a satisfactory attempt. I m sure u all will come up wth much better films. Best f luck to the entire team👍🏼
she's home alone and is weirded out enough to peer out several different windows to make sure no one is out there, but she leaves the doors unlocked? ugh my god. This was a great short though, especially with no money and on an iphone!! i always complain about people leaving their doors unlocked in most horror movies. my only real issue with this particular short is the girl's acting. anyone home alone and in bed at night who suddenly sees someone outside their bedroom door through the crack at the bottom is going to be fucking utterly TERRIFIED, but this girl's facial expression barely changes - not even when he enters the room. wth??
+Luke McCarthy I think that's the one I meant, just realized the one at 03:08 is a slow zoom. But did you pretty much go handheld all round, or did you use a stabilizer?
+nictheartist I used hand-held for all the tracking shots, but for the opening also used a digital stabiliser within Premiere Pro which is why it seems so smooth. Also the zooms were all done within FilmicPro, which allows you to choose how slow or fast the movement is!
I thought it was creative. the only thing that could have been better/different is the ending. a little mystery is cool, but it leaves u hanging. I liked it overall tho. don't pay attention to all the haters who have nothing better to do than criticize. keep it up
not the best but considering all this was filmed with an iPhone is pretty impressive there's movies with plenty of expensive equipment not shot as well as this
Why is it that none of these people ever seem to have curtains or blinds in there homes?!!
Idk
Okay; first of all, duh, she is home alone and keeps the door unlocked??? Then, when she checks the sliding doors later, and the one door is slid open, she doesn't even question why. This made no sense.
+Diane Kurnick Sorry about the poor grammar.
They said in the description that it wasn't perfect
It wasn’t perfect but it oughtn’t to be with so obvious flaw
Exactly
When I'm home alone, I don't act like this girl. I lock all the doors and windows, and If I found that one of the windows is open, I'm grabbing the biggest knife I have, then I call the police.
Yes
Some advice: call the cops after you hear a noise. 😅
By the time you hear the noise, it's usually to late..
No grab your firearm first and then call the police
Alot of doors..I'm dizzy 😔
I’ve been watching horror films all day who else?
In case someone were to break into my house, my plan has always remained the same - grab car keys and phone, run out the house, get into car and lock the doors and finally call the cops.

The ONLY scary thing about this film is how unbelievably fast she got dressed after her shower was done!!!!!😱
Andy Morris she was going to bed . So it usually doesn’t take that long to put on shorts and a t-shirt.
Lol
No one showers and puts on the same dirty clothes. Her hair wasn't even damp after the shower. This movie had so many continuity issues.
Dude I had no idea that was iPhone shot, color me impressed
Girls... Always closes the doors!!!
wtf nothing happened lol we just watched s girl walking around her house a lot really lol
She too comfortable in her home, open doors are no big deal to her.
a lot of fluff with no payoff. Dumb victim, and predictable ending. Should've thrown in some type of twist.
Like that synthesizer score.`
johndevault Yeah, that’s because it’s from an actual horror movie “IT FOLLOWS”

no way you filmed this on an iphone dude, great work
iPhones produce pretty good videos actually.
Daniel Viglietti Productions
Exactly..🎉yay for iPhone 📱📲
This is good considering the fact that it was filmed with just an iPhone and a tripod in a day with no budget. Keep up the good work. You'll get better!
This was fun! I always love seeing very low-budget short films, and this was a delight for that reason.
Great job with the suspense :D I really liked the continuous scenes :)
omg I can't believe you only shot by iPhone!
Very cool music score... 5/5 stars
Music is from "It Follows"
No locks on the doors smh
Why would you keep your door unlocked... I mean seriously you are alone🙄
Loved the music and opening credits
That's the score from the movie "It Follows"
I believe the song is called "Linger"
I got scared For 2 hours When No one Was there at Home Then I started Crying Becoz The Horror sceans Were Coming In My Mind!!!
Nice ending, as the viewers are moved away from the well lighted home, and a good selection of music to end it with.
The ending leaves one to think she knew the intruder as she looked at him/her.

Are you using music from Halloween? Id recognize that anywhere! My favorite horror movies ever!
what's with her attitude? father is just making sure she's o.k.! whew! great work for this to be just an iphone!
What kinda House Has NO Lock on there Door
Nicely done! Soundtrack is from the movie It Follows
Disappointing...
Could that house possibly have any more interior doors? All she did was open and close doors.
Every credit. Great short
This short film is so god keep up the great work
Where are the blinds
But what about the poor ignored vegetables in the kitchen? If she had just gotten her dinner ready and eaten instead of suddenly taking a shower for no reason, the guy would not have come into the house unnoticed and maybe nothing would have happened.
But despite some "why is she doing that?"-Moments like that and the fact that she completely dried in exactly 10 seconds it's not a bad film.
There are too many doors in every room in that house, it can cause criminals to enter and hide
Great job on the movie! Loved the soundtrack! It Follows is one of my favourite movies! 👍
Great film! I especially loved the footage you got from iPhone. Did you use Filmic Pro for the shooting? Did you use a denoiser? Because to film with an iPhone in almost complete darkness, and not have any noise/fuzziness is pretty impressive.
HAVE YOU CHECKED THE CHILDREN!
What young girl takes a shower and then puts her soiled clothes back on, including her bra (I was watching THAT very closely,) and then crawls into bed? Highly disappointing video.
where is the Horror ????!!!!!
Awesome! Did you colour grade? What app or software did you use to cut and edit? :) loved it!
+miller17 Thanks! I shot the entire film on my iPhone using the app Filmic Pro (which allowed me to choose the aspect ratio I wanted), and then edited and colour graded on Premiere Pro. :)
+Luke McCarthy great! Did you make the opening theme yourself? Its catchy haha
@@miller17 I dunno if you knew since it's been three years but the soundtrack is not original; It's in the description
Eeek! The girl takes a shower and then puts the same clothes back on! I know it's a low budget movie, but seriously...
Excellent! Love horror movies!
Fuck me, she looks about 40!

what the hell!!! 9 minutes 17 seconds of my life wasted!!! this was such a time waste!!!
why did you keep watching?
hahaha my question
shweta baisa 9 mins? Really 🙄 you probably spent more time scrolling through Facebook.
Very, very poor...
I think you’re a fan of the movie “shining” coz i could recognize a lotta elements that jogged my memory to it. If so, amazing topic, the vibe, the atmosphere is pretty intense. By all means, there’s some incoherence besides errors but in the end it turned out to be the greatest choice
Why killing her
Very well done! I loved the ending.
To open for me
why is it that every one in horror movies have their windows open so the killer can look in and kill every body???? if you can see out they can see in,
I really don't get it...how can people choose to live in such a unsafe manner ? How about locking the door and windows? ???
I find videos with women alone and a HUMAN male lurking more frightening than a ghost or monster because it's real.
bro bruh why don't anybody have locks on there doors and ten somebody tries to get in there home it would be lock but if they tried to break the glass they would get hurt and not the one who lives there?
nothing happened
you've got a talent! Whether it's music from the film "It Follows"?
good job
Why didn't she lock the sliding glass doors?
Alot of doors..I'm dizzy 😔

Видимо в этих странах не принято закрывать входные двери, заходите кто хотите
I hide in the comments during these🤣🤭🥺
No scream ...?
Why’s she turning off the light -
Pretty good for your first, I stayed till the end. :)
where is the music from ? i know that

Foolish why they don't lock their door from inside
I was in LOVE with the music, but overall it was pointless
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
How did you do the slow dolly shot? This would be even better if the audio was better quality, but for the short timeframe, very well done.
+nictheartist By dolly shot do you mean the slow pull back from the window in the opening? And thank-you!
+Luke McCarthy I think that's the one I meant, just realized the one at 03:08 is a slow zoom. But did you pretty much go handheld all round, or did you use a stabilizer?

I thought it was creative. the only thing that could have been better/different is the ending. a little mystery is cool, but it leaves u hanging. I liked it overall tho. don't pay attention to all the haters who have nothing better to do than criticize. keep it up
Why they don't lock their doors smh
That girl looks like she is in her 20's, what 20-some-year-old can't stay home alone?
What the girl did was making me dizzy when she playing with the doors so many times. Just wasted the time watched it.
not the best but considering all this was filmed with an iPhone is pretty impressive

Too dark and the music is too loud.
A Waste of my 9 minutes and 13 seconds I will never get back! Wtf,,
What was that?
AMAZING! I absolutely loved it!
AUSTRALIA!
