I make hibiscus tea and I will boil my leaves several times until the water becomes clear . I will try it with this recipe I like the method and I thank you for showing us how to make a wonderful drink that is healthy

You need to wash it to remove the excess dust from the flowers. Washing it does not mean u have washed d better parts like u said u will still get enuf color even after washing it. Pls always wash ur zobo leaves before using it👍

If you want to get rid of the sand, after boiling, you strain the juice into another bowl but make sure you don’t pour all the liquid into the new bowl. You make sure you leave the liquid at the bottom . You do that about 3 or 4 times and that will get rid of the sand if there’s any
