Which version of Rain of Memories is this? The version I have only has this sound for a short burst at the start, and I don't think it even completes a loop before the guitar comes in. You could have looped it but in theory a guitar should have come in before the sound completed it's loop cycle, so it's either a different version, or you've found a really convincing loop point before the guitar comes in. I was in the field most of August as a field geologist in that area and we got rained out a few times. I couldn't even collect my samples at least 3 days a week due to rain/lightning. I had friends who have gone for 20 or so years that live in Nevada and they all chose not to go because of it. It is similar to Mardi Gras some years in New Orleans. Earlier ones are colder and get rained out more often. Also, check the Solar Cycle and where we are in the minimum/maximum. That's always a telling tale.
