    thanks for covering this plugin! I've been getting ads for this recently and was really intrigued. Whatever fastens the vocal editing workflow is a win for me!

    thanks for making this video because you addressed some of the concerns i've had about how this works. seems like it's definitely worth getting to even out vocals going into compressors

    maybe a dumb question, but does this work with screaming metal vocal?

    • @hoborec
      @hoborec  2 дня назад

      Not a dumb question at all, but I do address it in the video. It works but the sibilants control can mistake some throat/guttural sounds for s-sounds. I also noticed the other day that the gate sometimes doesn’t recognise screaming as vocals, but then it works in instrument mode. I’d like to see this being taken care of in future updates though.

    what's the wattage consumption of your studio? how many hours per day the equipment is turned on? what's the total month electricity bill? What's the safe of one day not making music? which % of consumption is the non musical rest of the house?

      Hahaha what? Not too much to be honest. I haven’t measured it separately but it didn’t go up that much when I brought the studio home.

      @hoborec i barely play the valve guitar amp because it heats the room and very expensive bill. on the other hand i had this aiwa amplifier nsx360 turned on since 1992 non stop. and also the mixer yamaha mw12 since 2 decades ago. and i just bought another identical for piano independence, doubling the amp and computer too, and i am concern about the electricity. here in spain it's quite expensive the slightest increase. if i had all your equipment my father would hung me a tree for too much electricity. i guess you turn it off when finish. i don't. cheers.

    Seems like it’s not ai, but using machine learning.

    • @hoborec
      @hoborec  5 дней назад +1

      Perhaps. That's just semantics to me. They call it AI so I'm passing that on. I have no idea about the technical aspect behind it.

      I’d be very happy for it not to be ai.

      @@stevedoesnt If it's machine learning then it's not a problem ;)
      Does it matter what it is as long as it works? I also don't like AI trying to do a bunch of creative stuff, but these things are just tedious and time consuming. Every one wins if there is less need for it to be done manually.

      @@dougleydorite Why? I'm curious, if I missed something.
