Every once in a while an artist comes along and turns your world on its head. This man is crazy talented and I’m excited for that day in the future when I will be able to say I was hooked on his music before he was a star.
Same here. I discovered him because my son who was 15 at the time, 18 now, introduced me to his music. It was 3 years ago before he had even 10,000 views on his best songs. I knew the minute I seen his acoustic video of his song 'Billy' , that i was witnessing something I've never seen before..... and I've spent hours showing his material to possibly anyone that will give me 5 to 10 mins to show them.. now my entire family watches and listens to him regularly. Even though listening is soothing to the ears, I personally believe dude is best represented through his acoustic versions/videos of all his songs. Watching him play adds an entire element to his music that shows his obvious gifts. Love it all.
1000%. My sister turned me on to him back in December and we went to see him a few weeks ago open for Brothers Osborne. Going to see him again in a couple weeks for a headlining show and I'm absolutely beside myself. He's doing something pretty special. "Turns your world on its head" is exactly right. I haven't felt this way about new (to me) music in a LONG time.

How the hell is this song not on every radio station East of the Mississippi? This is modern country, although maybe too early it's right on time for me.

Man life as 90's hillbilly boy was the best time ever, I wouldn't change it for a thing. That swimming hole was the best. I had some buddies come from California they couldn't believe we would just swim at this spot. A horse fly came down doing what they do and it started flying around his head and he let out the biggest shrillest scream that holler ever heard hahahaha everyone stopped and looked at him and I knew it wss time to get him out of there before things got bad for him. We all piled in my ranger and got out of there before he got hurt hahaha
When a debut album is a thriller of a listen from start to finish you know you've found a gem. Thank you SJW jr. for honoring your father and sharing your talent with us.
This entire album is so good, this song probably isn’t the first one to pop up when you want to hear some SW Jr. But when he and the boys played this one when I went to see him in Nashville, I fell in love with it… cuts straight into my soul with some powerful nostalgia. LOVE IT!!
He is a phenomenal performer. This song reminds me of creek stomping with my daughters in central Indiana. We used to do and see exactly what this song is about.
i broke up with my girlfriend wich i still love on a level wich i never felt before and this song for some reason is saving me and to me thi is the best song of the decade
