It's so annoying that Bitcoin acts like it's an American commodity influenced by the American markets and central bank. It has literally nothing to do with rising yields in the US bond market.
Hopefully it becomes dominant and Wall Street starts reacting to bitcoin
Rising yields impact everyday Americans and even non-Americans as it influences their local currencies.. it is all connected, Bitcoin is not immune from this.
Why did you hope/think bitcoin might correlate with U.S. Bonds?
I keep wondering if, as it matures as an asset, its price behaviour might increasingly correlate with the gold-model-behaviour, not necessarily the actual price behaviour of gold, but more the theoretical price behaviour of gold.
It's all about money flows. Crypto goes up when there's risk appetite and money for risk assets

Just bought $5000 of bitcoin which is half of my savings. Hopefully I won’t regret it. See you in Q4
My advice: don’t get greedy. When it’s gone up a good bit, sell and wait.
Otherwise you’ll do what we all did last time and ride the slope all the way down 60% because you’ll be in denial.
You should wait for at least 2 bear markets, buying at this ATH. BE CAREFUL MY FRIEND 🤟🏻
Like he said ☝🏻 make an exit plan now while your level headed and stick to it. I sold my only house in q1 2022 and bought bitcoin! Rode it all the way down and back up. It was very unpleasant I don't recommend it
When put like that= It is better to work more and earn another +$5000 by Q4 for NO risk, than risk half your lifes savings!! on a high risk asset, for maybe a basic x2 - thats insanity.
Plus, maybe worry yourself so much you can't work well & could even earn LESS >$5000 on promotion prospects / bonus etc,

What topping behaviour will you look for?
Perhaps you will start layering out when your favorite risk indicator reaches 0.9.
Make a plan now, because the FOMO will keep you from wanting to sell.

4 is the worst number in Chinese culture, also symbolizes death. Hence in China there usually are no 4th levels in multi story buildings (after level 3 level 5 is the next), same like some idiotic american buildings without level 13. Asians tend to be pretty superstitious.

It takes time for gains to come - adjust your timeframe. We almost doubled after ETF approval, even though we dipped first. Seems significant to me.

Thanks . What do you mean by BTC D has topped as in previous cycles.... Have we had ALT seasons in previous cycles just before the halving???? I thought historically, was sth like .. halving.. 2-6 months... BTC up for 4-12 months.. then ETH.. (a few months).. then ALS (weeks), then mid small caps (shitcoins)/meme/NFT.. whatever the narrative of the cycle

Great considerations. First we can’t say yet if BTCD has topped or not, just that it got rejected first time at a very key level. It could still break through (instead of starting to trend down) and it just hasn’t yet. Alt seasons have historically started after Bitcoin has flattened out at a higher level, exactly as you point out - which is the situation we have now. Then ETH like you say, which has not happened here. But could it be that the ETH run was replaced by a throne shift and it was the SOL run we already seen? Not sure but I think it’s at least possible. And then we had the memes - which we have also seen already. Conclusion: No idea if alt season will start yet, but I think it’s worth noting that BTC.D rejection to see where it goes next, because that could be a major clue. I’m basing this on the assumption that alt season isn’t really dependent on the BTC halving in terms of time, just that BTC flattens out.

@@JanAlleman1 of course the correct entries were back at 17,433 and 21k respectively, so you are absolutely right. The only reason I'm interested is with some new cash after selling some other assets. So yes you are right!
I agree with you too! What I did is borrow money from a friend,as much as I responsibly could to buy bitcoin and would be able to pay off even if I lost my job due to sickness etc. So I am still paying for bitcoin at 20k right now, but if you have money now I guess it's the second best option for now.

Good video!.. I'm going to start watching you more often.. I looked up James from invest answers video on bitcoin 3 years ago.. He had Bitcoin at $ 200, 000 for the 2021 cycle and $400,000 plus for the 2024 cycle.. put a lot of trust in that guy. I didn't realize he was such a Bitcoin maximalist until I saw that video. Very disappointing..

So you think bitcoin could go to zero? You don't believe in the long-term viability of bitcoin? Sounds like you are trading on margin. I bought in 2014 and 2015. I will sell at $500K per coin. Been holding all this time and have never sold but have bought a few more on extreme dips. When you sell on pullbacks, you create taxable events on nickels and dimes. Why bother? That's my personality and how I operate.
Tools are for traders. As Michael Saylor says, trading bitcoin is sign of a weak intellect. (Alts are a sign of no intellect.) As all the greats from Jesse Livermore to Warren Buffet have said, it wasn't buying or selling that made them rich, but holding. Still this video is useful. Why? Because in all the 15 years I have been following bitcoin, when people start talking like this and planning on buying lower, that is when bitcoin takes off and leaves you chasing. Seen it so many times you would not believe. Stack sats, don't trade, HODL, and whatever you do NO SHITCOINS! 1BTC=♾/21M.
