The way I see it, Tarkin used his oversight of Galen Erso's betrayal as an excuse to seize position of the weapon from him. But yeah, while he was a project director, he was no military commander. Tarkin was better suited to the weapon's use than he was - at least, aside from technical issues, which I assume the Grand Moff had figured he could fix using other scientists that worked on the project. Pity Krennic slaughtered them all.
This music alone made this one of the greatest trailers ever. I still remember the first time I saw it and this music brought repeated chills during the whole thing.
It's Ninja Tracks - The Machination, special customized for trailer. It seems to me, in original version are only four chords: Ab > B > Cmin > Eb. But in trailer version, in scene (1:16) when Krennic says "The power that we are dealing with here is immeasurable" it's: Ab > G > Cm > Eb, and this changed chord gives really dramatic character. I love this moment too. I hope it will be available in high quality, but for now great thanks for your work!
-Your friend...the Jedi -He served me well during the clone wars, but he has been in hiding ever since the emperors purge yes I will send for him. That scene was absolutely beautiful
1:14 to 1:23 'The power we are dealing with here, is immeasurable!'. I wish that scene was in the movie. I liked Orson Krennic, he was a different type of villain. Plus the music at 1:14 is so good, why wan't this a full thing of it's own. Would have been the perfect them for Krennic, Tarkin or Vader
I'm literally tearing up, this music is so fucking powerful. 1:05 and on is my favorite part. Listening to this really helps me understand how dark Rouge One really is.
Of course, the Jedi don't have Christmas. Well, there's a planet called Earth where a race called humans live. There are many religions on Earth, but two of the biggest are Christianity and Islam. They have a festival called Christmas celebrating the birth of their prophet, Jesus Christ. It has since become a holiday even in secular society, and previously existed in various other forms such as Saturnalia and Midwinter's day, marking the shortest day of the year.
Exactly. The trailer music is epic, but unfortunately they went back to the John Williams orchestral sounding themes for the actual movie. I was disappointed...
This movie was so humble for a star wars movie that I just enjoyed every second of it because it was telling a story instead of just trying to show off and impress OT fans
when I saw this in the cinema trailers, I was like WTF OMG coolest film going to be released in a month, then look at my homie Darth mother fucking Vader
This theme, this freaking theme is really awesome!!!! Literally sounds Star Wars like. Man I freaking love Star Wars, and always will. Star Wars is not just a story... It's a masterpiece. Not even Star Trek can touch the beauty that Star Wars is, the best Science Fiction story ever in freaking History!!!!!! And this theme represents the beauty of it, not other science fiction movies have this beautiful piece of work!!!! Bless you Lucas, god bless you for creating a freaking Masterpiece.
i like this one, it sounds eerily similar to the Dark Knight films. but that's cool, i loved that music too. Star Wars has never disappointed me in the music department. can't wait to see Rogue One.
0:27 when that solo string instrument started to play that arpeggio and the song progressed slowly becoming more powerful I got fucking goosebumps! It really make me think "Fuck... This is it.. This is a fucking race against time, against the Empire, the fate of the galaxy depends on this entire mission succeeding, people dying, sacrificing themselves for the sake of the galaxy..." SO damn powerful! I had never heard this by itself before but fuck it's brilliant! I was actually welling up because it also made me think of the heroes of WW2 fighting a similar evil, an empire trying to take over the world only their battle(s) were real and real people died.
I think part of what killed "Solo", apart from the film being mediocre, is that "Rogue One" was a legitimate event, an important part of Star Wars's story. "Solo" was just superfluous.
"They have no idea we're coming...We'll take the next chance and the next until we win or all our chances are spent. You are rebels, aren't you?" - Sergeant Jyn "Stardust" Erso
here you are...all the people who love star wars music searched for this..... the best music of all time is all included in these movies....Do you agree? 👇💪
You know the music is perfect when you are not a star wars fan and you still get chills
You know writing down the same comment multiple times doesn't guarantee that it will stay in front.
You know it's a good movie when you don't even like Star Wars but you just so happen to LOVE this one
Angelus it wasn't intentional but thanks for being a dick about it
the bass was so cool ! boombast
One does not simply not be a Star Wars fan. Tell me my young apprentice, what happened?
"What's your callsign?"
"It's uhh...Rogue....Rogue One." God what a phenomenal movie!
There's no Rouge One!
There is now
if you mean that by good you are a sith
There is no Rogue One right now! He's just a farm kid bored out of his mind on a planet made of sand!
The best fairy tale ever told doesn't begin with "Once upon a time..."
it begins with the words:
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
This deserves more likes....
So true, man.👍
Truer words have ever been spoken.
Wise words
But Star Wars isn't a fairy tale
"The POWWAA that we are dealing with here, is immeasurable."
Unlimited, even.
"BUDMIL SPORT! Feel the POWWAAR!"
:D
I like that quote :)
JohnnyBoy1246 dude stop making fun of it really I love Star Wars
JohnnyBoy1246 Until somebody hides a flaw in a super weapon lmao
General Krennic: "The POWER we are dealing with here is IMEASURABLE"
Darth Vader: "That POWER is insignificant next to the power of the Force"
Aj Jingco Unlimited Power?
He wasn't a general. He was the director. And he was pretty bad at his job. No wonder CGI-Tarkin had enough.
Badjoke Maker Evaluate on how Director Orson Krennic is bad at his job.
Aj Jingco not general he is a director
The way I see it, Tarkin used his oversight of Galen Erso's betrayal as an excuse to seize position of the weapon from him. But yeah, while he was a project director, he was no military commander. Tarkin was better suited to the weapon's use than he was - at least, aside from technical issues, which I assume the Grand Moff had figured he could fix using other scientists that worked on the project.
Pity Krennic slaughtered them all.
I must say this is the only Star Wars trailer with this much emotion in it. And I love it!
Totally.
Totally agree
Cobbster PT seriously?
yeah i know it really gets the blood going
after watching the film... yep reminded me about World War II and how brutal it is. It gave StarWars more meaning and brutality
"If the empire has this kind of power, what chance do we have?".
"We have hope. Rebellions are built on hope".
thats a hell of a line.
"Take hold of this moment. The Force is strong!"
I can only imagine that the sequel will be EPIC!
"Save the Rebellion! Save the Dream!"
Tom ElOrnitorrinco ugh
Darth Vader scene at the end is epicness at its best
Those CGI faces of ''certain'' characters.. i was like O-o
Outstanding film!
OPEN FIAH!!!!!
HELLPP USSSSSHH
Yeesss
I agree, it would have been even more epic tho if that was the only vader scene in the movie
"Save the rebellion ! Save the dream..."
A Legend....
“The Rebels were built on hope!”
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
When the bass had dropped,
The Death Star had too,
Nice!
Grand Moff Olaf yes I really think so too. But if it turns out like Force awakens, well I'll might just lose hope for future Star Wars films...
midnightgalaxy71 It's nothing like the force awakens! (:
midnightgalaxy71 yep
midnightgalaxy71 so true lol
Holy god I'm crying from how epic this song is and thinking about the trailer, hands down the best star wars movie ever made!
make 10 men feel like a hundred
Take hold of this moment the force is strong
The Ridiculous Otaku save the rebellion
Bor Gullet my main man!
Soraya Alhady save the dream
The Ridiculous Otaku yep it's true
Make 10 men feel like 100!
Take hold of this moment. The force is strong
SAVE THE REBELLION SAVE THE DREAM
-In bed
we got it you are the underdog !
WhiteHole - Media LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE
They have no idea we're coming... We'll take the next chance and the next until we win or all our chances are spent!
Save the Empire! Save the nightmare!
that score is so good.
Joe Barajas yeah why lie its finally something different
+Jose Resendez for sure
1:14 that dark turn in the melody is amazing. Sends chills down my spine everytime
I am one with the force and the force is with me
I am one with the force and the force is with me
I am one with the force and the force is with me
I am one with the force and the force is with me
I am one with the Force and the Force is with me.
I am one with the force and the force is with me
X wings fighting above Scarif was epic
thegooseman90 *Scarif
My bad
I thought them fighting on Eadu in between the giant rocks was pretty lit too.
William Mosely that fight on Jedha in an urban battlefield was sick too
thegooseman90 is this no copyright?
"I fear nothing... All is as the force wills it." Probably one of the best Star Wars quote ever-
I got so many chills at 1:16 to 1:20. The power of what we are dealing with here is immeasurable.
Dammit Aaron lol Dammit Aaron
If the Empire has this kind of power, what chances do we have?
SHIFTS IN THE MARKETPLACE! Yea boiii

1:35 the best part begins
SAVE THE REBELLION!!!!... SAVE THE DREAM!!!!
Brilliant!!
Joe Keane Omg this was a very powerful moment
Shame that line was only good in the trailer and dumb in the movie
Saw Gerrera was just cringey
Become the hope that cuts through the darkest times in the galaxy far far away
Jyn erso you'll always be remembered 😔
ZeoWTF Such as The other Rouge One members.

Pity this music isn't in the movie.
DT 1995 Yes!
I feel like it could’ve been used for a montage or something.
the power of love we are dealing with here is irmeasurable
The music is really good
Not gonna lie, this goes hard

"The power we are dealing with here is immeasurable!"
This Soundtrack is so amazing, thank you for uploading.
oh yes, I especially love the harmonies at 1:14, fantastic! that bit you dont hear cause of the dialogue, so to hear it by its self is thrilling.
Movie was great as is this score the Rogue but the over all OST was average at best
-Your friend...the Jedi
-He served me well during the clone wars, but he has been in hiding ever since the emperors purge yes I will send for him.
That scene was absolutely beautiful
1:14 to 1:23 'The power we are dealing with here, is immeasurable!'. I wish that scene was in the movie. I liked Orson Krennic, he was a different type of villain. AlphaMunky yeah 😢😢😢😢
Krennic is... unique.
That's why Star Wars Movie has always his own climate! It doesn't matter it's story or not. I'm going to watch it and enjoy it.
Love it! Done well on getting the juicy chord @1:15 spot on!

"Rogue One, may the force be with you" always gets me
the movie is awesome! the music is perfect, the fights are amazing and the characters wooow😍
When it starts to kick up at 1:07 it reminds me of the music in the trailer for Tales From the Borderlands Episode 5
I'm literally tearing up, this music is so fucking powerful. 1:05 and on is my favorite part. Listening to this really helps me understand how dark Rouge One really is.

Giacchino is a master!
The musical man of rouge l
Exactly. The trailer music is epic, but unfortunately they went back to the John Williams orchestral sounding themes for the actual movie. I was disappointed...
It's fucking epic!!
After all these years, still that trailer music. The best Star Wars movie Disney ever made.
I love how ye kept the star wars sound in the background but gave it a more modern twist, definitely nailed this movie
This movie had one of the best space and ground battles in the franchise
No words to describe this Masterpiece of Music!
This sends chills down my spine! I can't help but think of Clone Wars Seasons 3-6, Rebels Seasons 2 and 3, and ROTS every time I hear this
So epic, so haunting, so beautiful!
Save the Rebellion. Save the dream.
Bor Gullet saved the rebellion for me
This piece only gains emotional impact AFTER seeing the movie. Incredible.
