Wow, Sammy. This is seriously an excellent vlog! One of your Top-5 best videos yet! It's a deeply affecting, emotional, informative, and world-class quality film. With some stunningly beautiful scenery, too. Just wow! 🎬🗺🌠
Great Video Sam, my Grandfather was one off the unlucky Soldiers that never made it home, he is in the Cemetery in the centre of town. A must see place Australians should visit. Cheers Mate 👍
Nice one, mate. I hope you enjoyed Kanchanaburi. About the guy in the hostel, you know many Eastern Europeans and Russians aren’t going to smile or acknowledge you, culturally it’s just how it is. You have to make all the effort, but if they speak English well enough, they’ll engage with you. My wife’s Russian, and when we go to Russia, I act like I normally would, smiling, chatting, etc. Mostly, I think people think I’m nuts 😂Ultimately though, if people don’t want to reciprocate, it’s better just to let it go otherwise you are negatively affected by the experience. Safe travels!
Great video Sam. This lane suits you much better than Pattaya nightlife, condo tours or bars...although I agree with Adam...that scooter is gonna struggle...as will your butt. Go slow, we like the little towns, the upcountry experience and real Thailand....don't rush it.
Such a magnificent place to visit and take in all the history Sam. Travelled through there just recently with my son to educate him. Thank you 🙏 Safe travels Sam 👍
Love the honesty Sam. Not many will say the truth about some tourists. Good luck with the rest of the trip. Loving the new style and edit of vids bro. Matty Melbourne oz
Great Video content again Sammie, seeing Kanchanaburi again brought back good and sad memories visiting here and the stories of so many losing their lives. Keep up the great work Cheers Irish Paul
Had a nice family holiday there a month before covid hit. Kanchanaburi and Erawan falls. A lovely part of Thailand. And catching the old train back to bkk with the open windows and wooden seats topped it off.
As a Kiwi I got quite emotional watching parts of that video bro! Must admit your video quality and content has levelled up since leaving Pattaya. Probably just the fact there is more variety in the content....or maybe its that new Macbook lol 🙂 Looking forward to the next install tomorrow!
V.N. guesthouse, very nice. They are not 'jet boats,' but long tail boats. They run car engines without gearboxes.there drive shafts, from the cars they were liftrd from run a propeller at the back, hence the noise and name. The nam kwai river is surprisingly shallow, hence the surface dipped propeller and the also shallow draft of the long tail boats.
Yes. An amazing place. I have been there a few times. I have also staying in the raft houses. Museums are interesting. especially the one with the weapons downstairs and the Miss Thailand dresses upstairs. Travel safe.
Wow has it really been 18 months since you left Australia? I have watched you since your last visit with Adam and knew you would be back because every time I visit Thailand I think about how can I get back while I am at work 😂😂😂. Another great episode Sam! Your channel is going to do very well because you are great at story telling!
Love the intro and the rest of it Sam. I'm working with a few guys like the one you encountered and I play it your way too..the Aussie way mate. I'm sharing this with all my FB friends and family so they can follow you and watch all the ads like I do. I'll be in Bkk and Patts late Nov mate if you're around.... Stay safe on the roads
Kan is top 5 places in Thailand, next time try go Hell Fire Pass, looks like fun on the bike, thinking bout trying Ayutthaya - Chiang Mai on honda click after watching 👍💪
Bro I’m about to do a roadie for my channel in a manual Nissan march , I was gonna do it with a scooter but the weather is too unpredictable in New Zealand and the trucks don’t muck around
I'm European & a lot eastern Europeans are like that, doesn't mean it's bad don't take it personal, there's no bullshit about them, there not going to pretend anything
I had a similar experience with a guy in Phuket last year that ,… let’s just say he fits the description of the fellow you ran into to a T,..he had wiped out his scooter and slid under the front end of a car , he was trying to pull the scooter out from under the car , I hopped off my scooter and before touching his bike asked if I could help him, he began screaming at me in his language , I don’t know what he said but it wasn’t hard to figure out what he was trying to get across so I promptly returned a universal remark by telling him to go “F” himself, got back on my scooter and drove away
haha, I think Adam knows me very well and thinks I'll pull the plug, with the long rides between beds, minimal editing time, heat, and no vego food he thinks I'll tap out fast
Daily train 😂 yet it still has the Japanese flag on it just after the drivers door, why you ask , cause most thai trains are purchased from japans secondhand inventory 😂 sorry to point that out but I couldn’t just not visually see it, 5.15 mark in the edit of the video
Spotto! Life is jam packed with ironies huh. Especially history Jump 81 years into the future and Ukraine may just be bailing out Russia in some future emergency.
Are you putting yourself through such torture just to make a dollar or are you doing it cos you are passionate about YouTubing. You will fail without passion, and that applies to everything in life.
I wish we could all mingle more easily... I think many/most expat communities seem to be fairly insular. We're all here for one reason or another. It would be great if we could all let the barriers down, even just a bit...
@@danielcully6047 you're taking my comment too literally... he does bring up the Russians quite a bit though, even in some of the older videos. Maybe Sam should go to Russia, Poland, Ukraine or Belarus (once the war is over) next and experience the culture first hand to overcome his prejudice
Hello Sam I m the « French lady » Alice now i watch your videos everyday. I Hope Stefan and you are fine on your trip to Chiang Mai. I m in sukhotai now! Bon voyage les amis !

Great content, I know you are on a time frame to get there , on the way back to have all the time in the world
Bro I’m about to do a roadie for my channel in a manual Nissan march , I was gonna do it with a scooter but the weather is too unpredictable in New Zealand and the trucks don’t muck around
There are two trains per day crossing.
It can be done

Yea Mate, i hate saying hello to someone and they just snob me. Saying hello is Free
while yer there don't forget going to hellfire pass
☝🏼💯
Where did you buy your moto-cy for 10K baht?
Some backwater town outside Pattaya. 8500
@ I want one so bad! Be safe.
Do you play guitar? Or just have a fender Tshirt?
I only play the Saxophone but couldn’t find a Yanigasawa tshirt
If you don't want to say it. Don't say it. Not everyone has to like your face mate
Now that you fixed the number plate I bet that bike will fall off the number plate before he gets back. Why is Adam Laughing ?

Jump 81 years into the future and Ukraine may just be bailing out Russia in some future emergency.
Pattaya to Chiang mai? Challenging😂
Not exactly.
Not like traversing the Darien gap is it?
Has your mummy never let you out by yourself before😂😂😂😂
Are you putting yourself through such torture just to make a dollar or are you doing it cos you are passionate about YouTubing. You will fail without passion, and that applies to everything in life.
I’m passionate about exploring the human condition
Nice documentary mate. Don't hate on Russians so much, they are often hard on the outside but soft on the inside. Don't judge the book by its cover 😉
I read the book and he is pretty much spot on
I wish we could all mingle more easily... I think many/most expat communities seem to be fairly insular. We're all here for one reason or another. It would be great if we could all let the barriers down, even just a bit...
His not hating on Russian's, he's talking about one miserable person. Did you even listen to what he said.
