This was the one N64 game my Dad played and beat on every single difficulty before I did! He loved this game to death; I’m having great flashbacks while watching this. Thanks guys, great video!
Never Say Never Again is the movie with licensing issues they’re referring to. Connery came back years after his final movie in a non Eon productions Bond movie. The scene in particular that Vinny is referring to is the opening of Diamond’s are Forever, where after Tracy was killed in the George Lazanby “On Her Majasty’s Secret Service”, Connery travels the world hunting Blofeld to avenge her death (even though he technically didn’t kill her). Connery left for one movie, and immediately came back. In conclusion, Vinny is kind of right, Alex isn’t anywhere near right, and Thunderball has nothing to do with anything they’re talking about.
Yeah that’s totally true, but the adaptations are pretty different. Having completely forgotten that, that makes a lot more sense for Alex, but still pretty obscure knowledge.
I love Dan. He’s like a normal video game nerd except that, somehow over the course of his life, he’s managed either to avoid or mishear enormous swaths of what is otherwise common knowledge outside his specific interests. “Have it in your craw there for me in case I need it ... that’s your brain, right?”
Goldeneye has some absolutely fantastic gameplay elements that unfortunately haven't ever really been copied by other developers... The unlockable cheats, the stacked objectives on harder difficulties, the fact levels had to be completed with the health you start with, with no more health pickups, the 007 mode allowing you to alter player and enemy health to play the whole game in one hit kill mode. All great designs. One of my proudest gaming accomplishments is probably completing Facility in under 2:05 on 00 Agent to unlock the cheat. And while I finished every level on 00 Agent, the only one I didn't was Caverns... Which my brother ended up finishing and I never went back to, even to this day.
Never played that but really enjoyed Everything or Nothing 6th Gen Bond was underrated. Mad how nobody has made a bond game in years. You don't need them to tie in with the latest movie either.
Get back in the stall where you first enter the bathroom. Now hold left on the joystick and the right camera button. I can't remember if you also have to duck but I think so. You will start to rotate left, and on each turn you'll kind of jump up a little bit higher each time. This happens automatically. If you keep doing it you'll eventually jump back into the shaft you came from. You can hide up there when playing multiplayer.
Your Bond voice sounds like Prof. Brian Cox. Goldeneye was my kid's first video game at 5 years old in 2008. Getting him started off right... he could beat a few levels eventually with zero help from me, ever.
N64 version of world is not enough was not a bad playthrough. Everything or nothing was a very good independent story. Also I think Bloodstone is its spiritual successor.
With Giantbomb premium, is there anyway to chrome cast the content? I know it isn’t on RUclips but I’m just wondering how I could get it to play on my tv.

Never Say Never Again is a remake of Thunderball. Maybe that's what had them confused.

Just my luck to buy a subscription the day before the sale. But hey, at least it goes towards good shit and lovely people.
You can send an e-mail to Rorie on the site through the support e-mail and he should be able to help you get the sale price!

Download it and cast through VLC?
If you are using the chrome browser, you can cast anything.
There are several free apps you can cast from.

Giant Bomb died the day they hired Ben, and then they died again after hiring a woman. It should only be Geoff, Vinnie, Dan & Brad.
It's been a few years. Do women still avoid you?
