I usually push the ball from the outsole through to the trough and then put a rag in the ball eject/launch area. This is a good idea, I like it better.
A very clever gadget, indeed! Have you considered/would you consider using a strip or two of sheet magnet in a future version? I seem to recall seeing adhesive sheet magnet strips in the 'crafts' aisle at the local Mart of Wal the other day, and thought about your invention... Thee only thing I'm not certain about is the strength of the magnet strip, but I believe the strips can be stacked... Just a thought... 🙂
Sure. It's possible. I have some magnet strips I could try. There is a slight problem with this design - it's doesn't work in the shooter lane on Jackbot because Jackbot has one of those little wire guards on the apron. I'll need a second design to account for this arrangement. Really, it could just be a flat piece with a magnet strip at the top and a little handle. Should work. Maybe I'll do a follow up video.
