The American Society Of Magical Negroes Honors Black Women

You may have dismissed The American Society of Magical Negroes, but this satire does offer its fair share of laughs, thanks to the legend David Alan Grier and legend in the making, Nicole Byer. But the unfolding of a mixed man's plight in America, meh I'm not too sure. I sat down with the film's very light skinned writer and director, Kobi Libii to really talk about colorism, why this film matters and Nicole Byer addresses why she's the head Negro in charge.
