Such a great thing, our stadium and Liverpool waters it’s going to bring life to the area and jobs. Be amazing when everything is in place working and be great to see. Love Everton 💙
Mate, they’re going for the league. And in a 65000 stadium. They don’t give a shite about us. Except the derby where they don’t want anyone injured or sent off 🤷🏻♂️
@@Edgeloading5539 the comments that flood my videos would say very different, I get no less than 10 best stadium in the championship comments per video.
Great for the whole area, and for the city. I’ll be sad when we leave Goodison but I think this place will be a fitting legacy, especially if this helps speed up the regeneration right up to kirkdale
Very true I worked for them a back in the day terrible company and the owner was a horrible man. Peel got a lot of money from EU and Governments in grants etc that is how they work.
The riverside promenade which runs from the heart of the city to the stadium will be awesome. I can imagine a certain other football club will be a bit envious.
Evertons part in the regeneration of the docks is a good thing for the City. Every scouser looks forward to it being improved, it'll bring more jobs, and extra tourism

@graemeb3521 I do know this In fact the Kirkby thing was, if i remember correctly, waa t9 be shared wirh the Kopites That plan was never going to work I mean Kirkby isnt even in Liverpool However a club can't move to a new one is built and that was never going to happen in 1999 I just guessed at the year I'm not good at mental arithmetic
If the rising sea level is so bad that the mersey goes over that dock wall at high tide I think we'll all have bigger problems than whether this stadium is flooded.
Why do you think EFC were compelled to move in the first place...all at the behest of Peel. There is one pub but no shops or amenities whatsoever, a deserted waste land until we get a KFC, McDs and a few theme pubs. Evertonians have been done up like a kipper by Peel/City Council and the idiots inside our club. Goodison could`ve easily been rebuilt at a fraction of the cost but we`re being shoved out of the way to appease Big Corp Ltd interests and to hell with the ordinary fan or local scouser. Land grab in Walton next anyone?

One club is kicking people out of there houses whilst the other is reinventing a whole water front
That park in the waters site has just got to be called ‘Goodison Park’, not another name that fits it more!

Let’s be honest here, peel holdings have done absolutely nothing to this site for years. They’ve just sat on the land and let it rot.
Very true I worked for them a back in the day terrible company and the owner was a horrible man. Peel got a lot of money from EU and Governments in grants etc that is how they work.
Let's hope we get the Mersey tidal barrier too, all three together will be a step change for that part of Liverpool and beyond
Just been told I qualify for a season ticket so will need to get altitude training
Fantastic video, keep them coming!

Should have left Goodison 25 years ago. It'll be missed but we need new chapters.
aahh... you blame the stadium for the trophy-dry period... got it.. yea, the RubbishDump Park is for a laugh.. back to work.
And moved to where in 1997 - Stanley park?

Isn’t the stadium at risk of flooding due to it being next to the sea

No, and it’s not ‘next to the sea’. That’s a river.
