My first experience in a go cart was 60 years ago, when I was around 10 years old. Our uncle took 8 kids, my sisters and cousins, I was the youngest and the only one that wanted to drive the go cart with my uncle. I was told which pedal was the gas and break. I took off and did great until I drove off the track and went under the stands. I got a nice round of applause when I came out the other side alive, and went back on the track and eventually stopped. I had a great time but never got to go back. My poor uncle was white as a sheet.

So happy your story turned out to be a happy one. Ten years ago I found out I had 3 half brothers and a half sister. Growing up as an only child I was stunned. Turns out they weren’t that happy about it and they knew about me but I never knew about them. No one told me, I had to figure it out for myself. I was 55 years old at the time. Very sad that they have not been into getting to know me.

I am so happy to be able to see your sister. I was shocked when Barnardo's contacted us to say we had family in Canada and asked if we wanted to be put in contact with them. Of course we said yes and we all meet up as much as possible as we live in the UK which makes it a little harder. Funny thing is my cousin in Canada has the same mannerisms as my Gramps who sadly past a number of years before.
