Funny thing is that most of these access quests are super easy, but people are too lazy to do them. Didn't play a lot of classic but back in vanilla I got both the mallet and the Stratholme key and people were like "I are tuuu laaazyyyy".
@@TommyDaGreatest I've tried to get the mallet, but nobody coud be bothered to help me with it, and now it's kind of pointless to do it.
Reminds me a few times weeks back when I was in ZF with a group that supposedly had the Mallet. We struggle through it all like you did. We clear the area around the sacred pool of Gaz.
Then the guy runs up to the gong and realized he left it back in the bank.
So he hearths back to bank to retrieve mallet.
10 minutes later he finally arrives back to us with the mallet and right as he goes to ring the gong he finds out......
He forgot to bless the sacred mallet back in the hinterlands.

@@johnathanera5863 Most players will have the basic mount, which is +60% movement speed by default. Comparatively to your original speed, the difference between 160% total movement speed vs 163% would seem minimal. However, over the course of at least an hour, you, the rider, would notice the significant increase to speed as your buddy, who spent the time to get the carrot, would be out of your view distance.
Even if you still don't think that good enough, the number of other good trinkets before raids is virtually non-existent and even in raids you'll likely only ever get one.

Trolls in a desert at the other side of the world: we sometimes summon a giant hydra with a mallet from the other side of the world from a total different troll tribe not related to ours.
this is a bit too much to explain but what you need to know is that before the sundering most troll tribes were living together in the central southwestern part of azeroth(when the eastern kingdoms panda land northrend kultiras and all that jazz were a part of the super continent kalimdor)
And the trolls are pissed about it.

It's WoW Classic. In this situation, you have to make a decision: Try to charm everyone and perhaps clear the dungeon or search an unknown amount of time to find a replacement palyer.

Can I just say how healing it is to experience the flyff soundtracks again
This made me laugh. I forgot how hard groups were as DPS. Thankfully when levelling my prot warrior, I made good friends with a healer in WC, and we stuck like glue all the way to 60. Making groups and being picky was an option for me then :)
I had to pause for a minute and think to realise what the musics from, holy shit flyff is a throwback

I on the other hand had a pleasant surprise with "Carrot on a stick" I was lucky enough to be part of a good ZF group on my first run, and someone had the mallet, got it carefree, no wipes :D

Puella Magi Homura Akemi Ironically, right after I wrote this I was actually in a semi toxic ZF group where fury warrior complained about the tank while being called out by healer for doing less damage than everyone else (he was wearing 19 dps swords...). Quote miraculously we got through it without any quits but it wasnt pretty. It makes me worry for the harder dungeons...

This is why I love classic wow. You make experiences. You get to know people and write your own storys.
In retail you q for a dungeon, clear it with ease and leave the group without having interacted in any way with any other player.
Nah fr, compared to older versions of the game, queing for a dungeon in modern expansions is so lame. It's like you're playing with bots and not real people. 3 sentences said at most. Meanwhile in vanilla, tbc, current wrath classic you actually gotta communicate

It's an RP server. Most of the fun people are doing weird shit in towns or PVPing. The people who are ahead of the curve on an RP server are bound to be a bit...unique as it means they have likely ignored most of the central purpose of an RP server.

Get up to pyramid later, clear pyramid, the priest pulls the goblin making the great warlock gear unobtainable as his corpse lies on the floor.
The priest is soulstoned by me for the second time, and i tell them by no means to use it in combat, him during the last pull, uses his psychic scream, pulling 2 more packs, killing us all, but not before he could soulstone call us lol players forbeing mad with him, killing the final boss then fucking leaving.
We go back in and the trash has begun to respawn, and nobody had the mallett.
Sadly due to Zul Farak syndrome i choose not to remember my other 4 journeys.
