In this epic edible gardening video, I will show you how to lettuce grow. From my experience they do. The older they get, it seems to be what makes them more bitter.

When you saying washing up liquid, is that liquid body soap or is that dish soap (detergent)? Is it better for a mild soap? Or what about diluted white vinegar?

dish soap, iceberg lettuce. I can only give advice on things that I personally have tested, so yeah I have yet to try other methods.
