The Los Angeles Lakers end the half on a 21-7 run and lead the Denver Nuggets, 59-44, heading into halftime. Anthony Davis has recorded 24 points (11-12 FG) and 6 rebounds for the Lakers, while Michael Porter Jr. has tallied 14 points (4-6 3PM) and 2 rebounds for the Nuggets thus far.

Denver is the toughest place to play because of the altitude…they had the best record in the league last year despite being 19-23 away. Their opponents are physically FINISHED by quarter 3. There’s been plenty of research on this and Denver’s home court advantage has always been the strongest, even when they were mediocre…I don’t think they win the chip this year, they’re not good enough if they can barely beat a team at home being run by a 39 year old. Lakers are just not a good team with poor coaching, they’ve got no chance…so this was inevitable
