When I first listened to Fish Bow Man, from Please come home mr. boulbus, I realized why this fucking underrated grunge band needed to be listened! Long life to this power trio!
Probably the only way to get a King's X fix is to watch live videos of them or better yet see them live yourself. I have yet to hear of a KingsX cover band, but can you imagine how ridiculous it would sound? They just arent going to be able attain the levels of musicality and ability each of them brings -LET ALONE the harmonizations together throughout what are complex songs if you didnt have to sing at all

Because King's X's songs/music makes even us "white devils" bend over and cry sometimes. I'm grabbing my belly, and doing it right now! And Doug Pinnick is an *Amazing* human being for persevering in this world. I sure-as-f*k can't. I'm a rock-n'-roll has been that Never Was. And that's Nobody's fault..; it's just the way it is....
I put these guys in the same "UNDERRATED" category with early UFO ans SWEET. All bands that never got their due PERIOD !! DP is bad ass PERIOD !!!!!!!!!!!!

Ac/Dc and King´s X are some of my favorite bands... I didn´t really understand this random bashing of yours. Angus Young is one of the best guitar players in rock history, and Malcom´s riffs are solid. Bass and drums are really simple, but they do the job nicely. As for the vocals... Well, Bon Scott could really rip it up - Brian´s more of an acquired taste, I´ll give you that. Liking one band doesn´t exclude the other ;)
Absolutely! Frank is one of my biggest guitar heros. I got into him in the 70s when my uncle played his albums for me. Music is great. The business sucks! I played in many bands in the 80s in the L.A. club scene and saw just how treacherous it was. I'm reentering the world of music when the world gets back to some kind of normal and playing instrumental rock fusion and it will be what it will be, but it will be fun because it's all about the music. If people like it they like it. If they don't they don't. But I'm gonna have a damn fine playing the music I've been composing for years.
Way back when cassettes started giving way to technical evolution, my first CD players had an "A-B Repeat" button which came in handy as a budding guitarist. Well, here ya go: 06:53. You're welcome.
