I remember seeing Miss Joan Davis in two beautiful comedies, both starring by the great and unforgettable Tyrone Power. First "Thin Ice" (1937) and then "Day-Time Wife" (1939). Her performances in both movies were hilarious. She was an excellent comedian. I love her! Thanks.
The saddest part of Joan's story was that, two years after her death, her mother, daughter and grandchildren all died in a house fire.
Truly a sad ending......that didn't just end with her death .Her daughter , grandchildren and mother died in a house fire 2 years later

I used to watch I Married Joan when it was in syndication. I was a little girl when Joan Davis died. I cried and prayed that it was a mistake and that she would be back on t.v.

I have never seen these shows it was long before my time but I might see if RUclips has old clips. She was a very beautiful girl. lol if she was alive today she would be way out of my league. It does have a very sad ending she died young my grandma is only 57 and very beautiful herself. lol come to think of it my grandma would be out of my league. R.I.P.
