I hear nothing but honesty and truth here, I’m fortunate to have had no reason to use dating apps, but I think like you say, we need to see how many kids in the future say “my mum and dad met on a dating app” …. And are still happily together but the real-time social experiences and discovery is crucial and feels like 90% better
Hey Eben, I bet the algos are keeping your content suppressed. I don't see how the view count could be so low. Regardless much appreciate your voice and what you do
I think its weird how when you engage in a conversation with the opposite sex, they will ask for your facebook or other social media handle. I have never understood why people think a self published social media profile means more than connecting in real life.
34:36 If you're not fully happy and fulfilled outside of a relationship then you shouldn't be in one. It doesn't take an enlightened being to get there either.
I photographed weddings for 15 years and about half my client couples met online. It works for some people and doesn’t work for others. I usually tell people if you feel good on the Apps, keep doing it. If it feels off, get off. You have to feel good if you’re swiping. I was on the Apps for a couple years and met some amazing men that I had genuine romantic connection with. Ended up meeting my husband while waiting for an Uber in Venice. :)
As always, love the chill vibe of the channel! Besides the thought provoking content, maybe once or twice a year throw in a short 10min yoga session. Perhaps you and mom do one together.
I met this girl at the bar on vacay turned out we live in the same town and we knew a bunch of the same people. I asked her is she would be down to go on a date once we came back to our home town and she said yes. Asked her out, told me she had something ''but we can do it another time? :)''. Ask her again 2 weeks later... she didn't even look at my message lmao
The corporatized structure of online dating has encouraged people to look at each other as items. Items that can be used and tossed away without a second thought. The empathy is gone. They could easily create a dating app that would encourage genuine connections but that wouldn’t be as easy to monetize. Therefore as the greed grows, people will continue to forget that they are dealing with real people with real feelings.
This is very interesting. I would like to see more on this topic, such as dating after Bufo. As I believe dating is an important part of the integration part post Bufo. As a female, prior to doing Bufo, I got ghosted, rejected, and stood up a lot right? So after working on myself for years and doing Ayahuasca and Bufo as an added tool for my personal journey, I got ghosted and rejected again. It really did something to me as I felt the energy behind it. At this point in my life, and it's been like this for awhile, I will not go on a dating app to meet anyone. Call me old school or what'd you like, I'd rather let the universe do its thing and allow me to meet someone in divine timing. By the way Eben, congratulations on your podcast. I used to watch you on Hotboxin. Glad to have found Eben Flow. Looking forward to more content. Blessings on your journey. Namaste 🙏🏽 and much love ❤️
Porn and hookup culture are so soul sucking. It is sad to see so many people not take this topic seriously

your honesty is so refreshing.

How would they easily create a dating app that would encourage genuine connections? How would that work?
❤🔥 good stuff!
You guys are a powerful force, thank you for always putting out such excellent content. 💜

Are these guys stoned
You can't judge the energy off an app/photo. People are not around each other in an organic way.
