This would make for a nice little monthly series! I would love to see what someone like Squeex or Clint Stevens does well, so I guess those two would be my suggestions for future videos of this sort.
In regards to using music intentionally, DougDoug does the same thing really really well. I'd say him and Lud are the 2 best content creators I've seen at curating their music.
@@StreamScheme heck yeah! Can't wait to watch the video! Doug Doug really does the most interesting things on his stream! I've never seen someone utilize the whole of their chat into their content, tts comments, polls, letting them control the games, it's inspirational honestly.
I was afraid of not being able to find a topic to make videos but you have opened my eyes. I just have to plan well and spend time creating content. It will take time but that's okay, Rome wasn't built in a day, right?
love the video! my problem with having little jokes/traditions with my community is finding the perfect thing to then BECOME a joke/tradition. how do you find/know when to have those with your community?
Really like the video I think its great to have a start middle and end but I would love to see a video covering or giving advice on how to stay safe online as a streamer. I'm not sure if others have the same concern.
Subbed yesterday, been streaming for a year with some success (not something great but not bad). I totally love your content and what you propose. In one day I binged a lot of your vids and it made me realize I need to go further that what I'm doing. I want to surpass myself and your videos are what made me think that. I'll come back in a year to see if I managed to change
I started watching ludwig recently and I dont watch nintendo content as much anymore yet he does a great job delivering it to grab me, I will learn from this! thank you
I want to create content just as an exercise of "getting out of my own way". I am quite introverted, and the pandemic only reinforced my introvert behaviors. I now find it very hard to interact with other. I am hopeful that I can share my life and what I like as a way of forcing me to get back out into the world again!
may i ask, were does Ludwig get these carefully chosen tracks that he can use without copyright issues? Id love to create my own list of tracks, im kind of a music snob in certain senses. I just need to know where to find them and I can def forge a playlist outta them.
This is an extremely good video full of wisdom and tips and tricks to steal! I truly dont understand how it only has 18k views on six months! Damn Algorithm what does it want !
What about copying his method for his most viewed video. You know asking MrBeast for a reject video of his and just uploading it on your channel. That’s legit how Ludwig got his by far most viewed video. To be fair he did have a cameo in it, and asking MrBeast for that did take some balls.
Very simply :) Trend jack and use one piece of art to create multiple pieces of content. For example, Tears of the kingdom just dropped and is trending. Stream the art creation that follows that trending topic Edit the stream into a video Edit the video into a short Post the art on communities who like the trend, such as subreddits, discords, etc Pin the top comment on those posts saying if you want to see the process its here, linking back to the video. Be wary of self promo, provide value to the community more than you ask for. Artists have a much easier path to growth, it just takes stepping back and thinking like a marketer as well.
@Stream Scheme so basically draw trends/fanart and make it into a speedpaint and then market it. Yeah, that dont really work very well. And drawing too much or too mixed amount of fanart can actually just do more harm than good. People will only come for you for 1 reason being the fanart for the fandom they are in. And if its mixed all the time, then well, they have no reason to follow you. Some fanart is good sometimes but not in a mixed or big amount. Only draw fanart of stuff you enjoy or have knowledge of, poeple will know and that can lead to harassment. Speedpaints aren't that successful unless done right, or you have a really good style. Also, discord and reddit are not good places to do that. I wouldn't recommend trying to advertise but to be active in communities that you enjoy. People dont enjoy it when they feel like you're trying to advertise. They want you to be on the same level as them. People dont like it when a person feels corporate. These are really bad things to recommend a beginner honestly. I love your videos eljay but im a little disappointed. You have mentioned several things that most professional and intermediate artists say is a no no. And i sure you, growing as an art content creator, are 5 times harder than as a normal one. We dont only hold youtube and twitch but also post regularly on several social media. And keep up with patreon or a webshop. Some of us have several accounts related to if it's nsfw or sfw and those also need to be taken care of. This means that both those accounts need 2 different types of art. You're my favorite streaming guide, i think all the other channels aren't very truthful or just sugar coat problems. And it kinda hurt that you said that. It's insulting. It made me sad. It's not easy, eljay. We dont have it easier than you guys
I appreciate the reply, I realize my response is too vague, I was answering how would you do something like this video in art, not a detailed breakdown of growing as an artist, so to clarify a few things. I am not saying only make fan art, I am not saying make varied fan art, I am not saying advertise randomly or in communities you're not in. I am saying pick a community you love, for example, maybe you love horror games, and being aware of what is trending at the moment, you are aware of this because you love the community and then using that love create unique valuable content, and post it in places that people will find it, and will appreciate it. So for example, you love horror games, you know resident evil is coming out, and you're excited, so you stream making art of the protagonists, you listen to the sound track, you all build and hype it up, you are personable and engage with viewers in the community. This is what I mean when I say "Trend Jack" you're not randomly jumping around, I always say to niche down to a topic so I didn't think I'd need to add context, that's on me. I know several creators who have done this very carefully, been active, built trust, and then used that trust and value, to say,. "Hey, I streamed making this comic, or headcanon piece of art" They post shorts of their arts creation, and use that to link to their full videos, they push them to streams. They are active on Twitter and reddit communities creating things people love, over and over, and they build entire audiences doing this. SirGrafo for example, built his entire following by originally making comics about RimWorld, then people loved his humor so he adapted that into his own content, his own style, and now does whatever he wants. There are hundreds of other examples, but hopefully that gives enough context. When I say "far easier" you're reading it as "easy" but what I'm saying is, based on the original comment, artists have it easier than the people this video is targetted towards. Artists have a marketable skill, talent in creating art, talent in drawing, this skill is incredibly powerful compared to gamers who just want to play games and grow that way. I don't think any content creation is "easy", but when there are Millions of gamers just boringly playing games, it becomes impossible to stand out, but having a marketable skill like being an artists makes it easier to stand out. You're completely okay to not agree with that, but I think artists have spent their time developing an amazing talent through hardwork, and when you take that talent and think like a marketer, its "easier" to make it clickable, appealing, and grow an audience than again, some guy in his room playing games and hoping to grow. Hope that clarifies, on the topic of having 2 accounts such as sfw and nsfw, that really isn't something I can speak to, its a decision to focus on the one that performs better, try balance both, etc. I don't think that effects this concept and thinking how to market your art and grow as its entirely the individuals choise to have 2 accounts. I am an idiot for having two youtube channels where I make 1 video a week on each, so 2 videos, and 3 shorts on one, because I am splitting my time and energy, but I do it because its my choice and I am aware that I have to walk the walk I speak, and show people I actively engage in the community more than just some guy who does guides. Edit: I am going to add a tonal note to clarify because text is impossible, not an argumentative tone, just trying to relate, show you I have heard you, and clarify what I am saying because I think it's been misinterpreted due to the vague reply which sadly is the nature of trying to reply to every comment.
@Stream Scheme thank you Eljay. That was helpful. Also, please don't call yourself an idiot. We both know community is the most important. The fact you actually replied to my comments is nice. Most creators dont interact with those who watch them. Im sorry i overreact. I kinda just dont know how to react when i feel hurt or upset. I dont know why. Im sorry if i made you mad or upset Edit: damn im tired this isnt a good grammatical day heh

That’s the goal! It’s just going to be touch to get the audience into it, they’ll likely underperform for a bit.
In regards to using music intentionally, DougDoug does the same thing really really well. I'd say him and Lud are the 2 best content creators I've seen at curating their music.
Absolutely agree! DougDoug was who I was going to cover next!

IT'S THE YOINK AND TWIST BABY! Even this video is a yoink and twist off of Lud saying do the yoink and twist.
I was afraid of not being able to find a topic to make videos but you have opened my eyes. I just have to plan well and spend time creating content. It will take time but that's okay, Rome wasn't built in a day, right?

You keep making them, and when your audience keeps bringing one up, you know what to double down into. You can’t force it, they really decide :)
Really like the video I think its great to have a start middle and end but I would love to see a video covering or giving advice on how to stay safe online as a streamer. I'm not sure if others have the same concern.
I’ve covered this in several videos :)

I have just started streaming and your videos have been very helpful.
i've been trying to siphon some of Ludwig's charisma, and I think I got 1% of it today. Out of nowhere, I yelled "BOYS" so I think it's working
Hahahaha
I was away for work when this video dropped. I appreciate the shoutout, keep up the good work and great videos!

loooooove this!! Also, love all the Ludwig Package jokes. Classic Eljay Humor. 💜

No bounty bar for the bounty hunter? O.o
I came to learn and learn I did. I was surprised at the extras - humor. Love the humor, badly. Hahaha!
This was awesome insight Stream Scheme! Weird, you kinda look like this Eljayem_ guy I've seen on RUclips too...
This is an extremely good video full of wisdom and tips and tricks to steal! I truly dont understand how it only has 18k views on six months! Damn Algorithm what does it want !
Goated Video!!! Ludwig is my favorite content creator and I found him on RUclips. His charisma and packed content is what drew me to him.
Couldn't agree more :D
Great content buds!
Excellent break down! Thx for your hard work !!
always love your video keep up the grate work bro
Please make a series out of this!
I learned these things from JimmyHere, DougDoug, and Purplecliffe but either way, it is a great formula.
Dougdoug is the king though
Thanks! I really appreciate your content.
You forgot about Ludwig’s other common video series, reacting to videos large creators make about him because he’s vain AF.
Great video! I understand a little more why Ludwig is my favourite streamer. I’d love to see a similar video on CallMeKevin!
I love Kevin, and he’s already on the list to cover :)
@@StreamScheme love that! Can’t wait to see it, keep up the good work
Please make more videos like this

Doesn’t seem that applicable to most people, and doesn’t invalidate the fact he was massive before that video. :)
What your thoughts on advertisement for streamers, Scheme?
Euphemism moment
Enjoyed and Learned a lot.
Still here 26 of 46
Gee Eljay, you’ve lost weight!
Sounds to me your a fan of ludwig
How would this work with us who dont do gaming or irl. like artists
