You can find vegan and vegetarian food at Tsinghua, when u arrive at the campus they will have the canteen guide, you can ask the staff to circle out where u can specifically find vegan or vegetarian food!

Nights out cost a bit, especially if u go to the "tourists" areas, while expenses in the campus are really low. For a meal u spend about from 10 to 15 rmb and that's usually a full meal.

@@liqritrs8391 i took the IELTS, they only ask for a certain level of HSK btw, the english certificate is a plus. They ask for a level that's higher than 4 for HSK so 6 is great! I had 8 for IELTS and 5 for HSK
@@gized7319 I know. It depends for the course but a hsk4 is what's required for nuclear engineering. You'd literally die in that course. Anything under a hsk6 is going to be incredibly difficult to do classes in Chinese and actually absorb enough, not just slug along and pass. That's just my personal opinion. I know people with Hsk5 who would die in China. Imo a hsk6 is the minimum level you should have to do a course in China, it's what's required for Beida. For the English courses... Just get the minimum requirement and you'll be fine.

It surely depends on the subjects you are studying and I am an architecture student so I am required to have more practical skills rather than a really high Chinese level. Hi, I’m a freshmen at Tsinghua, and SAT is not a must as long as ur school provides an international transcript like IB. Well I cannot say that it’s a must to submit other documents but u will be competing with quite a lot of international students so I think it’s better if you can “enchant” your application. SULIN ZY I think it's okay not to submit your graduation certificate, but you need to provide a statement by your school that clarifies you will be graduating on June or you can just submit your last high school transcript. U can try contacting through their email admission@tsinghua.edu.cn

@@cristina7715 For me, I did okay in my interview. I'm lacking in my chinese speaking skills but I still managed to answer it. So they will ask you in chinese first like introduce yourself and many more (university interview questions). Then, for the english interviewer, they'll ask you about your personal statement and your knowledge towards your major.

It's my first year and let me tell you something alot of the classes are in Chinese and u need to know like technical words for chemistry and naming compounds. So if you've got the time, you should work on that so u don't struggle as much as I am atm haha!
