For instance Ubiquiti antennas use CDP protocol, you can activate it in service menu, so whenever you face an issue you can quickly check the neighbors to see if the antenna is working or not. This interface list gave me some interesting ideas which I can implement, gotta work on them. Thank you 😊
Hi! Love your videos. I started from beginning. My question: Why would we use MAC Telnet? Isn't it insecure? Also, is it a good practice to disable it?
Hello, well mac-telnet is what allows us to connect to a remote device using its mac-address on Winbox or through Romon which can be invaluable at times, though it can be a bit risky and I would say it is best practice to disable it on all your interfaces, but, you can still leave it running on a management interface or create rules to only allow devices in your network to use it.
I am using EVE-NG Pro, that cloud is just an image of a cloud that I uploaded to EVE-NG to make the topology look a bit nicer. Behind it there is a Network Node for my Management Cloud network on EVE-NG for internet access.
ITS NOT ENOUGH THEY CAN SEE YOUR IP ADDRESS AND MAC ADDRESS IN OTHER ROUTER ISP LAN TO LAN , I CHALLENGE YOU IF YOU CAN HIDE YOUR SELF TO OTHER ROUTER LIKE TENDA XIAOMI ROUTER LAN LAN I WILL COMMENT HERE
I mean, your ISP will see your IP address and your mac-address either way from an arp entry since they need to know what your IP is to forward traffic to you and you need to know what their IP is to forward traffic out to the internet via their network. Sure it sucks that they might be able to see what your RouterOS version is, but I don't really see this as a big issue.
@@TheNetworkBerg you should be invisible to your ISP lan to lan they see nothing nothing at all i mean, they don't even see your MT ROUTER to block you or limit your internet data there's a setting on our MT that hides you ip address and mac address to your ISP makes your MT invisible to other router, I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT HERE TO TEACH OTHER TO I can't make video of it the reason is i want you to do it💪💪💪
