Staying forward, very important, hand on clutch, bikes have evolved,a lot,but staying forward don't need to remember, first time I went to a race with, new clutch, sprockets chain, killer soft terrain tire, stood that bad boy straigh up in the air,and had to wrestle it down to keep from hit my buddy two gates over,my mistake my fix.today's bike four stroke get such great traction all the time, you have no choice but to stay forward, unless you don't twist the throttle much, thank s Gary.
Specifically SX whoops? Chest/Head over the bars and hips above the shock gripping tight = position of most control. If you're leaning way back with rounded shoulders you have little control, gripping too hard most likely, and a better chance of being bucked in the rear by the shock.
