I've sinned for so long. I feel unclean. I turned my back on God all those years ago. I see the evil in this world and I've had enough of it. I am sorry and i seek forgiveness.
Here is God's promise for you. There is hope; He is faithful:
" If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
1 John 1:9
The Lord will never despise a broken spirit and a contrite heart. Sometimes the hardest this is to forgive for yourself. Praise God for his mercy, forgiveness and love.
Believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and be washed clean of your sins :)

How many Christian or Messianic songs are about repentance?!?! Yet this is at the HEART of salvation. When we realize how far we have been from our Beloved Lord and yet He loves us so much!! He will take us in when we turn to Him with a humble and contrite heart. He will not despise or ignore our pleas for ourselves AND for others. REPENT means we respond in FAITH with all we are starting with HEAR O ISRAEL, THE LORD IS GOD, THE LORD IS ONE! You are to LOVE the Lord your God with ALL your heart, ALL your soul, ALL your strength and ALL your mind...and you are also to LOVE one another as Christ has loved us...amen! Glory to Him! God almighty we love you please help us increase in You and decrease in us. Help us Lord to GIVE YOU EVERYTHING! All our life all our being is YOURS LORD! Hallelujah to the Lamb of God who gave us the Way to come home...such a wonderful day that will be.
My children ask me to sing this song to them every night to fall asleep to. They say, "Please sing us the long song." I cannot think of a better song to fall asleep to...asking God to cleans us from our sin and praising Him. Thank you Sons of Korah for turning this beautiful, important Psalm into such a beautiful lullaby...although they are never asleep at the end since they bust out with "open up my lips and I will declare your praise!" I can't think of a better way to end the day... pondering my sins from that day and asking for God's forgiveness and singing of His righteousness.

It IS a good-thing to Remember where you have come from ,sometimes...(NOT Every Night!) GOD FORGETS THOSE THINGS if you have Really Repented and turned away from them...HE Does Not CONSTANTLY,Unrelentingly Remind you of your Sin(that is Something Other and it isn't GOD! It could be a "False-Guilt" or "The Accuser"(make sure you aren't Accusing and Beating yourself for things GOD Has Forgiven and Forgotten!) The Blood Of Jesus-Christ ,shed for us All,Cleanses away Sin and Makes us CLEAN Before Him.Nothing Else!!! GOD IS NOT THE ACCUSER...HE Fires His Arrows of Conviction into your heart,now and again...often even! It is a Good Thing to Know the Difference. God is NOT The OGRE-Sky-GOD watching,waiting ,lurking in the Shadows with a club in His Hand to beat you with every time you messed-up.. No HE's got His Bow and Arrow and He hits the Bullseye EVERY Time!!!(Conviction of Sin,Not Condemnation.we ourselves,Condemn ourselves...with a little help from "Santa's little Helpers"....

He is Faithful and True, the great I AM, tender in His mercy and remembers we are dust, He doesn't treat us as our sins deserve, the price has been paid in full through the powerful precious blood of Jesus on the cross for you, to you ✝️

What's great about Jesus is there is no more need for sacrifices of bulls and rams. He became the last sacrifice. He died for our sins. We are saved by His grace when he died on the cross and said it is finished. The ceremonial laws are no longer needed. Amen! Only Jesus. 😊

We can all ask the Heavenly Father to magnify His Holy presence in each of us
Then our combined light can stand with Him and Holy army and change the tide of evil coming against us all!
I'd never heard this heart rending Psalm before, but more than 20 years ago I was on my knees begging God for mercy, & this Psalm makes perfect sense to me now.
After that low my life changed & God literally added that which my life so sorely lacked.
I don't take for granted all the things he provided for me when I begged for his forgiveness & clemency.
He hears you.
Oh, He must surely does!

Very true indeed, I've seen them live few weeks ago. They are constantly doing this with passion.
This isnt christian music. It may be christians singing it but the words is not christian. It is hebrew music. Christians may have robbed these jewish scriptures to claim as their own but it is not christian by no means.
Yoshi Ben I thank God for the Hebrew scriptures. How they reveal who God is. Salvation is from the Jews. Yeshua came to save men from their sins.The Disciples of Yeshua were all Jews who spread the Gospel[The new covenant, the Good news based on the old covenant scriptures which revealed the Messiah[ Psalm 53 for example Reveals the Messiah]. As a believer in Yeshua, I want to say I'm aware of the jewish heritage. And would rather say we share the Word of God and I am grateful to God for His Word and for those who through all the ages of time kept it, so that we all have it to this day.
Yoshi, I appreciated your comment and wanted to offer some clarification. Jesus is the Messiah (in Greek translated...Christ), the descendant of David promised in 2 Samuel 7. The Hebrew scriptures testify of Him. All Christians who worship Jesus, worship the promised Jewish savior. People can receive forgiveness of their sins and be declared righteous by the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob by faith. Just as Abraham received righteousness by faith when he believed God's good news, "In you shall all the nations be blessed," anyone can receive the blessings of Abraham through faith.

Such a calming sense of peace came over me as I listened to the Psalms performed by the Sons of Korah. May the Lord continue to use their voices to bring many to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus.

Oh Yeshua/Jesus we have had it so easy in our Pacific nations, with peace and security because of Your blessings on us. We have known You and your Word. Your righteous ways were part of our societies. But in our ease we worshiped your creation and ignored You and your word. All sins are forgiven by God through the finished work of the Cross. Jesus overcame sin. If we believe in what Jesus did at Calvary when he was crucified with all our sins nailed to his Cross, died for all our sins, buried and resurrected on the 3rd day we will receive salvation with the seal of the Holy Spirit and become a member of the Body of Christ as per St Paul's Gospel. We need to put our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and what he did for us and nothing else.
