This was such a stacked event! The competition was insane. Fruit getting 0 kills in round 1 and 2 of Sky Battle had me worried for a sec, and then he pulled off that play!
yeah its unlucky for a lot of ppl like hannah also got 38th on the first round and dominated the last rounds but she got 7th so she couldve gotten top 5
Fruit does bad in sky battle when he has a good team, he needs a team that all fall into the void at the start of every round so that hes left solo and can go god mode lol
@@aishamohamed8878 i agree. like im glad purple won and jimmy getting the last shot was definitely hype, but i honestly think dodgebolt plays get picked too often for top 10's. imo dodgebolt should only be in the top 10 if it was a really impressive play, like pulling off a 1v3. also wish they'd give more attention to players that had pop off plays but didnt win. lots of cool moments fly under the radar when we only look at the end results

Also that round of dodge bolt went really fast. Maybe not the most technically exciting, but the context made it important for his fan base and friends.

Yeah, they were so great. Sadly, their suffering started with the choice of games. Every game where *all* the players were good at it was benched, leaving just games where one or two of them were amazing, but everyone else either struggles or they're just okay. Then, for some reason, the "random" spawns for Meltdown decided to put them RIGHT next to Red EVERY TIME, so they never had time to really get their bearings before they got rolled.
@@ms_scribbles their team was suprisingly balanced (two more builder people with two more pvp/speed people) but the games were more pvp and parkour heavy which not helpful for them sadly and then the bad luck with the randomizers, yeah this was not their tournament, even if they were delightful to watch

That's why MCC highlights is better, they actually wait a while and get as many plays as possible, while these guys just make a Reddit post asking for plays and upload them a day later

I mostly agree with this list but why only use clips from scott and shane for gridrunners? it's a 4 person team. and yes, Jimmy did amazing with the clutch, but the three other members got more kills - Martyn had an 80% accuracy in db! Why not just say the Purple Pandas db in general?
Very curious as to whose death benefitted Fruit with those 2 golden apples in the 3rd round of Sky Battle. Those very well might've been the deciding factor for his survival to the end.
