That person must be feeling REALLY dumb right now. She is so clearly a super-fan, to the extent that she is explaining star wars and what it means to people similar to how George Lucas does!
I'm most excited for this show out of everything we have coming! Also, just from this interview, Natasha really gives off Sabine vibes. Same with Rosario for Ahsoka. They picked the right people.
Hearing Rosario Dawson talk about how it's a character's development and flaws that makes Ashoka so lovable was awesome. This is the problem with rey from the sequels. She is portrayed without any flaws or learning from mistakes, which nobody can relate with. It's what makes Ashoka one of the best star wars characters ever
Let's let's just forget that ever existed. These shows have therapeutically brought me back through years of depression and hate I had for TLJ and whatever that last thing was after it. In the end, as she stated, star wars has always been about HOPE, being inspired to be the best version of yourself.
This series is GONNA RULE!!! Aside from the obvious perfection of having Rosario as Ahsoka, Nat is the SPITTING IMAGE of Sabine. Perfect casting, can't wait! I just wonder though - are we going to see Ezra? Is Mena Massoud going to play him

Whaat I really like is that Rosario Dawson and John Krasinski (Mr. Fantastic in Doctor Strange 2) are proof that Disney will take in fan feedback on who should be casted as these characters. It's insanely awesome. It is kind of frustrating that the Ahsoka panel wasn't live-streamed especially since they obviously made some casting announcements and showed a trailer. I get wanting to sweeten the pot for the people that go to these Celebration events, but this is the first Celebration in 3 years. Everything at Celebration this year (and I mean just this year) should have been livestreamed.
I do have some mixed feelings regarding studios caving into fan demand and how fans can sometimes basically determine the courses these projects will take but I’m not gonna deny that those casting choices are awesome
I was fortunate to be at the Mando+ Panel the morning of this livestream. They restricted filming, but they showed us a teaser for Ahsoka, and trust me when I say, this show is going to be marvelous.
Wow man, Natasha looks exactly how I pictured Sabine would look in real life. Excellent casting, at least in the looks department. Let's hope her acting is on par.
Having the Production team, the actors, the tech, and stagecraft all come together finally after so many years... reality finally catching up to our imaginations that we kept going for so long... It is healing a broken part of me. It is taking these long-abandoned pieces, left hanging in the breeze, and it's hooking them up as if they were brand new. They really are on our wavelength! I can't overstate how important and needed that is right now, to have them be true to this thing we all love. The droids are the main characters...
I didn't know until today that they had cast an actress for Sabine Wren. She's perfect for the role. They did a fantastic job casting her... she's exactly what I would picture in my mind if I were to cast a live action Sabine.

Omg Ms Dawson absolutely knows her stuff. She sounds like a lifelong fan, calling it a way of life. This is gonna be a great show and an incredible performance.
So my only wish for the short term is that hopefully a picture of rosario and ashley meeting gets published in either of their accounts. I also hope that ashley is given a part or she collaborates with Dave in filming some of the scenes. Other than that, I feel it is in good hands.
@The Weavile Dude Omega is supposed to a female variant of Temurea Morrison. LOL Ashley doesn't have either the ethnicity or the skin tone for that LMAO
I wish these two the best of luck. Ashley Eckstein and Tiya Sircar were both phenomenal as the voices for these characters, so they have some big shoes to fill, but I trust Dave Filoni to be able to pull it off.
I love Rebels and Clone Wars. I grew to love every character, especially Sabine Wren and Ahsoka Tano. I like how Clone Wars characters continue onto and Rebels.
the choice of cast is great. Rosario is already very beautiful and aesthetic, besides she is the best Ahsoka face. Not to mention her acting talent, this woman is amazing. I don't really know Natasha Liu Bordizzo, who will give the soul to Sabine Wren, but it seems that she is a surprisingly accurate choice. His face really looks like the drawn character we saw in the animation.
A lot of people seemed to have a problem with Rosario at first, but seeing how much she loves the character and is dedicated to getting it right, I mean what more could you ask for as a fan 🤷🏼♂️ and I dunno who the actress who plays Sabine is, but she looks JUST like her so that’s some grade A casting decisions right there and she seems pretty passionate about it too. Disney: "Older Star Wars fans dont like the strong female characters!!" Literally, my two favourite Star Wars characters. Ahsoka and Sabine, along with Luke.
So incredibly pumped for this series. Ahsoka was easily one of the best characters in the animated series and so far I've loved what they'd done with her on the big screen. Rosario is fantastic and I'm looking forward to seeing Natasha as Sabine.
I’m still slightly sad that Ashley Eckstein isn’t playing ahsoka/involved in any way, her voicing of the character is so iconic that it’s weird to hear another voice coming from ahsoka, but I’ve gotta say Rosario has been doing a brilliant job and I look forward to seeing her in the show
I love Ashley but I appreciate what she's done separately from Rosario. IMO The more badass women pushing Ahsoka forward with their own traits and talents, the better. Rosario getting in cause of fan demand was such a beautiful & inspired moment for the series and fans and I think that rally breathed even more life into the strength of Ahsoka as an icon. Meanwhile Ashley using the forward momentum & of her work with Ahsoka to launch Her Universe and become such a figurehead in the Star Wars community, and then getting to come back for Season 7 too. I'm so happy there's room for both cause together they really are a force to be reckoned with.

Also, just from this interview, Natasha really gives off Sabine vibes. Same with Rosario for Ahsoka. They picked the right people.
She looks exactly like Sabine, and she doesn't have all her gear yet. I need to see her on the show now😭😭
@@MagdaaPino I know! I'm so excited!
Love how clone wars and rebels are important for more Star Wars shows. People who watched both shows are being rewarded now.
Hearing Rosario Dawson talk about how it's a character's development and flaws that makes Ashoka so lovable was awesome. This is the problem with rey from the sequels. She is portrayed without any flaws or learning from mistakes, which nobody can relate with. It's what makes Ashoka one of the best star wars characters ever
exactly
Let's let's just forget that ever existed. These shows have therapeutically brought me back through years of depression and hate I had for TLJ and whatever that last thing was after it. In the end, as she stated, star wars has always been about HOPE, being inspired to be the best version of yourself.
Jesus christ...
Natasha actually looks so like Sabine😍💯😁
100%
This series is GONNA RULE!!! Aside from the obvious perfection of having Rosario as Ahsoka, Nat is the SPITTING IMAGE of Sabine. Perfect casting, can't wait! I just wonder though - are we going to see Ezra? Is Mena Massoud going to play him
Sabine is my favourite character in SW Rebels. She's not only cute, but also fearless and artistic. Seeing Natasha being selected to portray Sabine in an live-action series make her even better. Looking forward to the show!
Natasha Liu is beautiful. Such a great pick for Sabine!
Yes is beautiful, but i dont agree with her as sabine. I hope im proved wrong.
@@daniellebcooper7160 The hype and fist pumping, the looks, and the attitude is all there! Sabine is one of my favorite characters and she will be perfect especially with dave in her ear the whole time. Haters gonna hate🤡
@@obleckgreen1234 Ease up.
Theres NO hatred in what ive said.
To me Natasha has no resemblance to sabine, except that theyre female.
People only hate on disney for encouraging WOKE BS and negating good story.
@@daniellebcooper7160 are you high? She looks exactly like Sabine because Sabine is Asian
@@daniellebcooper7160 Dude they look literally identical. Once you see her in the purple wig you will see. You can even look up concept art of her in the sabine outfit. Perfect casting from dave himself.
They nailed the casting for these two characters
Gives me so much hope for the Ahsoka series. We’ve got Dave and actors that actually care about the characters they’re playing.
Hearing Rosario's natural voice shows how good of a job she does sounding like Ashley and nailing her mannerisms when playing Ahsoka
Ashoka and Sabine are both my favorite Star-wars characters two beautiful talented awesome actress
Makes me so happy that they both are true fans and went back and watched everything about them, unlike some other actors sadly.
The Halo show being prime example for how bad it is and how no one researched the game
@@youngrootv sad part is they *did* research and discuss the lore for weeks...and then threw so much of it out
@@expressnumber I heard they only used the books as source material. No game lore
@@expressnumber the Halo show runner literally said, “we didn’t look at the game…we didn’t talk about the game. We talked about the characters and the world. So I never felt limited by it being a game,” in an interview so they really didn’t discuss much lol
This is amazing. On one hand, I wish we could continue the Rebels storyline in animation alongside the voice actors, but having its sequel series be live action will get more people interested in Rebels hopefully.
So the animated series is now over or on hiatus.
@@sassymess7111 Star Wars Rebels finished in 2018. But it’s story will continue in the live action Ahsoka series.
I am so excited to see two of my favorite Star Wars characters brought to life by these incredible artists. Also, it's really nice to see Andi again. I miss The Star Wars Show so much!!
So grateful.so humble, so dedicated...easy to forget sometimes that RosarioDawson is a movie star.
Its almost uncanny on how much natasha resembles Sabine. I mean her look and energy. Perfect casting. And i know the show is gonna be good!
I can’t believe this is happening what a time to be a Star Wars fan
This is the way
@@xLucTV this is the way
This is the way.
Been a great celebration so far!
Rosario Dawson is smart! She's a legend for sure! It's awesome to have her playing Ahsoka, the absolute legend of a character!
im so in love with Natasha Liu Bordizzo, that aussie accent just makes me feel something
This perfect casting for Sabine. I could not be happier.
2:02 I think the stunt coordinator she's talking about is Ming Qiu, who also played Minas Velti in episode 1 of "Obi-Wan Kenobi" (the female Jedi Master who was teaching the class of Initiates when the 501st Legion attacked the temple in the opening flashback).
Agree. They could at least put the panels on Disney+
@@directorforplastic7929 Tros was 100% a reaction to the fans
If only they listened to real fans we would have Gina back they don't always care about fan opinions
@@criticalhard Lol nobody cares about Gina Carano. Move on.
She's perfect as Sabine
I was fortunate to be at the Mando+ Panel the morning of this livestream. They restricted filming, but they showed us a teaser for Ahsoka, and trust me when I say, this show is going to be marvelous.
Wow man, Natasha looks exactly how I pictured Sabine would look in real life. Excellent casting, at least in the looks department. Let's hope her acting is on par.
Rebels!! Super excited to see these women develop in live action. Asoka!!
The moment when Rosario speaks about balance. Shes officially a grey jedi.
I didn't know until today that they had cast an actress for Sabine Wren.
She's perfect for the role. They did a fantastic job casting her... she's exactly what I would picture in my mind if I were to cast a live action Sabine.
Ahsoka is gonna b amazing. Another Star Wars gem imo. Filoni is gonna deliver a masterpiece of a series. 💯💫
Natasha is a wonderful person; she seems so humble, intelligent, and most brilliantly, passionate about Star Wars! I loved how warm she was towards the fans and the immense amount of respect and passion she showed for Filoni and the Star Wars mythos as a whole, particularly behind her own character who she has clearly done immense research for; she too understands what fans love and what Star Wars represents too, which is just wonderful - her speech on the franchise being about hope was really beautiful too. Even if she wasn't a Star Wars fan before being casted, the fact she now seems like a passionate fan who is receptive and positively impacted by the fans, and the fact she's clearly watched Rebels and analysed Sabine in order to truly connect with and embrace her as a character, makes me really joyous to see; what a fantastic new inclusion to the Star Wars Galaxy. She's clearly very proud to be part of this universe now, and I couldn't be happier for her!
Rosario is awesome! I can’t wait to watch her new series. So happy she studied the shows and is passionate about honoring the character.
I love the Rebels series, and I am so hyped to see Natasha take the reigns of Sabine. Wish Tira was casted personally, but i never seen Natasha act before, I'm intrested.
I love Tiya in the role but there was no way she would ever have been cast. Sabine is portrayed as a completely different race.
Cannot wait for the Ashoka show! She has become my favorite character since I watched clone wars! I wish we could of see her in the prequels but, glad we have her now! 😊
*i’m a loyal Star Wars Rebels fan, and i’m absolutely thrilled to see Sabine in live action!* 👏🏽
Can I just say how beautiful Natasha is??? I’m in love with her and can’t wait to see her play Sabine. 😍
Cannot wait to see the continuation of the search for Ezra, and the hunting of grand admiral thrawn. Rebels is such an incredible show. I truly pray they do some flashback scenes showing us live action version of Kanan Jarrus, what an amazing character!!!!
I second this, I would love to see a live action Kanan Jarrus, because he is now and forever The Best Jedi.
I am in love with Natasha. Totally crushing. WOW. So happy she's playing Sabine Wren, one of my all time favorite Star Wars characters.
Natasha Liu Bordizzo is going to be an Excellent Sabine, I can Feel it! Stoked for Ahsoka Series!
Our beloved REBELS live!
It's almost unnerving how similar Natasha Liu Bordizzo looks to the animated Sabine. Are we sure she was born, and not drawn?
perfect casting in so many ways.
So cool! Can't wait for the Ahsoka series!
Omg Ms Dawson absolutely knows her stuff. She sounds like a lifelong fan, calling it a way of life. This is gonna be a great show and an incredible performance.
I can’t WAIT for this! Natasha looks JUST like Sabine, ya know, without the colorful hair. 😭😭😭
I'm sure she'll have colourful hair in the show lol
@@dutchalfred553 of course she will. I’m saying she looks like her even without it.
Agreed
I love Rebels and Clone Wars. I grew to love every character, especially Sabine Wren and Ahsoka Tano. I like how Clone Wars characters continue onto and Rebels.
the choice of cast is great. Rosario is already very beautiful and aesthetic, besides she is the best Ahsoka face. Not to mention her acting talent, this woman is amazing.
I don't really know Natasha Liu Bordizzo, who will give the soul to Sabine Wren, but it seems that she is a surprisingly accurate choice. His face really looks like the drawn character we saw in the animation.
This show is going to be amazing because of the dedication these ladies are putting into it 🥺
Sabine is gorgeous wow 🔥🔥
It would be nice to see them at some Comic-Cons in Europe, we had Emperor Palpatine here in 2022. ⚡⚡⚡⚡
My daughter and I are beyond excited. So happy my kid has a character to look up to like Ahsoka. So pumped!
I hope we get to see Chopper live!
ahsoka coming soon to disney plus
We did. (Rogue One)
Warwick Davis could play him ...lol
They brought him onstage during the Mando+ panel earlier today! His top bopped and wobbled and he was sassy as ever!

I liked Rebels. I'm happy I listened to the right people.
The casting of late has been excellent.
I'm looking forward to it all.
I'm already in love with Natasha, looking forward to her interpretation of Sabine!
Definitely can see Natasha as Sabine, perfect choice for the character! ❤
Disney's playbookr for Star Wars success: Listen to the fans and give them what they want.
Sheesh the actress for Sabine,
Wowee 😍😍😍
Natasha legs !! Omg 😱❤️❤️❤️
Ahsoka is going to be the most anticipated show for me, I’m pretty excited about it. I just wish I didn’t have to wait so long still!!!!!!
bordizzo's gonna look so good with that short purple hair
Ii hope she doesn't have to cut it too short. I wasn't the biggest fan of Sabines super short haircut in Rebels finale.
Disney: "Older Star Wars fans dont like the strong female characters!!"
Literally, my two favourite Star Wars characters. Ahsoka and Sabine, along with Luke.
I'm an older Star Wars fan, 48, seen IV at a Drive In. Ahsoka and Sabine are two of my fav characters, far past anyone in the original trilogy.
:D
Same koyotee
So incredibly pumped for this series. Ahsoka was easily one of the best characters in the animated series and so far I've loved what they'd done with her on the big screen. Rosario is fantastic and I'm looking forward to seeing Natasha as Sabine.
Rosario really seems to get Star Wars and ahsoka in general. This is such an awesome time to be a Star Wars fan.
I agree, although I'm glad we're getting more of Ashley's Ahsoka in the Tales of The Jedi anthology series.
@@ciennaquidd6486 yeap, loved them both in their separate acting realm
