They put a lot of work and effort into the set and props. Even more when it comes to CGI. So it's always heartbreaking to read comments mentioning how fake it looks, or other side comments.
the Sahara sand scene is technically awful. Close shots show them walking 🚶♂️ almost horizontally while wide shots show a steep climb... the editing is bad, the movie is bad

Mirroring is what people what BPD do best. You’ll often hear “we have so much in common” or “they’re just like me in so many ways” or like Jason said “she’s me but a female version”. You’ll hear almost anyone in their lives say these things. This is one of many, many reasons it’s so hard for them to maintain relationships because they are someone else around every single person that they’ve mirrored so it shows pretty quickly and people start to notice. Again, one of many reasons they filter through relationships, romantic or not, so fast.
please don't stigmatise BPD like this. Amber is also believed by Dr. Curry (the psychologist hired by Johnny Depp to evaluate Amber) to have Hestrionic Personality Disorder, which is much closer to NPD than BPD and is characterised by a constant desire to be the centre of attention, always be believed as the victim of any given situation, and believing relationships are much closer than they are in reality. People with BPD are much more likely to be abused than abuse, as the disorder is developed from having experienced years of abuse and/or instability in childhood. People with BPD can be abusers but the pattern of volatile behaviour from BPD comes from a place of fear, not desire to control or manipulate in most cases.
@@milkcherry5191 I’m well aware of both of her disorders. The fear of abandonment in BPD is what causes them to self destruct and self sabotage. BPD are highly manipulative and abusive whether they ‘mean to’ or not. You’ll often here “I didn’t mean to do that though” or even hear them outright deny it and make up their own reality complete with manufactured memories. I’m aware that HPD contributes to this as well, but many of the symptoms are already overlapping. One of the actual symptoms of BPD is unstable relationships, and no.. they are not the ones that get abused usually, they are the abusers.
@@milkcherry5191 I’m aware that most people with BPD came to be because of the fight or flight environment they grew up in and the trauma it caused, which arrested parts of their brain that regulate emotion. But they are not typically the abused later in life, they become their abusers. They reenact those trauma bonds throughout adulthood and they become the abusers. They are very careful in which people they get into close relationships with, only picking the ones that they sun conciously test and test and test until they are sure that they can continue to manipulate them long after their love bombing mask has fell off. In short they find other damaged people and lure them into a false love and then abuse and use intermittent reinforcement until a trauma bond forms.
Yeah unless you have BPD or are a therapist, I feel like you reeeaalllyyy shouldn’t make these generalizations. It does more harm than good…Researching a thing a couple times doesn’t make you an expert at understanding it especially when people who have the disorder see your comment, it’s very cringe and stigmatizes us all and if you know anything about BPD there’s way too much stigma around it that most of us are afraid to even tell our therapist about the symptoms we experience. Please don’t stigmatize and weaponize traits on the disorder to justify amber being a shit person. She doesn’t represent us all and not even the majority so. Psychoanalyzing people can be fun but you don’t have to make it a public comment that has actual implications of further stigmatizing an already extremely stigmatized disorder. Unless your a psychologist you shouldn’t be saying what all people with this disorder are best at which is wrong btw. I am best at blaming myself for everything even when I am being mistreated. I am best at being incredibly hard on myself and struggling to experience positive emotions as well as processing the bed ones. I am most certainly not an expert at mirroring and it’s not what I do best so your statement is wrong sir. People with BPD aren’t usually cold and calculating most of us don’t realize what they are doing and it’s related to trauma. Unless you know then you don’t know, you know?
