If the concern was about the use of the word “queer”, the usage in the story was not as pejorative, but as an adjective to describe something as odd. So there was no “bad taste”. Regardless, I agree that it is vital to preserve works as they were originally penned.

Why change the slur? It is HISTORY…during that time frame! LEARN from History instead of denying History.
