Hey Jonah! I’m considering getting an A harp (and I’m especially interested in trying out a “tin sandwich” style, in contrast to the Lee Oskar I have) and since I value your opinion, which of these would you suggest: a Hohner Crossover or a Suzuki Manji Sky?

I like them both for different reasons. Crossover feels great, very raspy, airtight, and has a nice thick tone. The Manji sky doesn’t feel quite as airtight or powerful, but the thinness of the reeds is an interesting feeling and sound, and it has a particular charm to it and better playability. I don’t think you can go wrong with either, but if I had to compare them side-by-side I would choose the crossover.

@@HarmonicaRevolution Thanks! Which would you say is better at blow bends? That’s part of the reason why I want an A harp. (That and it’s the key I need for, among other songs, “Roadhouse Blues”.)

@@StarQueenEstrella they feel different. Manji is probably easier.

    Hey Jonah,
    Great lesson. Thank you.
Just a heads up. In the body of the video for the D cord in the tabs for the high octave you show it ending on 4 blow (C). Should that not be a 4 draw (D)?

Yes, that would be a mistake. The correct tabs are in the description.
