Even though y’all ain’t killin the content is authentic that’s what I love. Real hunters understand that the hunt doesn’t always end with a kill especially hunting public land much rather watch this hunt than some private land hunt that is loaded with deer
@@bluecreekroad Agreed a giant on public might be average on private, but it’s usually harder to get that “smaller” deer on public. What I love about these guys is they hunt because they love it. Even a doe makes them happy. That’s hunting not killing.

Great coyote howl. I'll definitely be using that tactic. You guys are the BEST, ever. ALWAYS learn something from the Hunting Public !!! 👍👍 Ole Floyd not pulling his weight 😂
Don't mind at all that you guys aren't putting Pope and Young bucks down. Your footage is authentic and realistic, I have gut feeling something with a big rack is gonna drop in the near future for THP, either way I will keep tuning in.
The art of hunting for deer has been lost on television programs, I consider them shooting channels. This channel is the art of the hunting public. It is truly hunting.
If people are just here for the kills there are plenty of channels on private land killing monster 84 point bucks. The rest of us are here for the trials and tribulations of the public land hunting. You all do great work and always keep it real. We thank you all.
The pressure I put on myself every year and know ones watching. I can’t imagine, but just remember all good things come in time. Yin’s are going to shoot something special this year. I feel it in my bones ! It will be worth the wait mark my words.
Crazy how one year can differ from the other. That happens with everyone in hunting. You guys are the real deal, and don’t sugar coat it. Don’t change anything. Keep it up! You guys rock and I love every video you guys put out, regardless of the outcome. Plus, we all know it’s coming…
11:30 That looks like some species of Dock (Rumex genus)....many of them are wetland species. At 11:43, you can see the same or similar plants (possibly Bitter Dock, R. obtusifolius) in a larger flowering stage.
That buck had that "I don't feel like whoopin' anyone's butt tonight" attitude. Sometimes all you can do is enjoy the show. Going to have to try that coyote trick. Getting that time of year where your luck will change soon.
That flat looks vaguely familiar... It's always a great day to see beautiful deer like that, especially a big buckaroo! Lol Love ya'll and what you're doing!!
Appreciate videos like this! It brings thing back to reality of how hard it is to get a shot on a big buck even with the best tactics. Your uploads this year have really helped show the struggles of hunting, so thank you
As usual awesome vid boys !! Off the ground like that with the calling, raking, rattling and decoying taking the temperature of the deer lot like Turkey hunting and that yote howl at the end genius very impressive!!! Go get’em !!!
Got my first bow kill Thursday. 3.5 yr old 8pt. Switched from light arrows with a mechanical to heavy arrows with a fixed blade because of you guys! It helped a lot with penetration. Enjoying the deer tour so far keep it up boys 🤝
Love the coyote howl! We have lots of pigs, so I use the same tactic but with pig grunts. Has worked very well before daylight when bumping deer, if they don’t smell you they will stop and start walking again thinking it’s just a pig coming thru
Great video of trying to call in a buck. Been at it hard hunting and scouting the last 3 weeks in northern indiana. Hard to find good bucks around here when every other hunter shoots anything without spots.
I have to learn how to do that coyote howl! I have to sit in my stand often and wait for deer to leave. Sometimes I just turn on my light and start getting down.
Hey Warb thats really smart to move them deer without startling them out i gave a dominant weeze to a nub just so I could walk out without scaring them good episode thanks.
Encounters, scouting, changing strategies, all part of the bowhunter's life. Realistic hunting on public land. Fred Bear admitted that he actually would sometimes go to the woods... and not get anything. I don't believe it, but that's what he said.
People point out the lesser number of kills this year without recognizing the consistently high numbers of encounters you guys have and ultimately thats what matters imo
There is only one thing I hate about your videos.... and that is I just can't get enough of them... LOL I just don't want them to end ... Keep up the good work guys... I love all y'alls videos and just sitting here waiting till the next one... Stay safe my friends!
Boy, if I didn’t know any better I would have thought that place was infested with Coyotes! 2 nice bucks down there in them willows waiting to be turned into some deer jerky. I have a feeling there will be a video coming soon. Great footage again fellas!
The coyote howl was on point brother! Gotta give it to ya on that idea I’d have done as I always have is set and set and set 😂 but I also have a night vision Binocular like a single one and I love it just for that reason walk in or out without a light. Best money/Christmas present my wife has ever gotten me other then my 50bmg but its worth having.
i agree with the other comments. Great content. Y'all are as real as it gets with the animal sounds and good hunting tactics. It really shows the outdoors and animal behavior most people will never see. Im sure some nice bucks will hit the ground soon for y'all.
Fantastic video. It ain't all about the kill. This is real. And that coyote call...broooo, pure genius. And damn it sounded perfect hahaha. Once again another tip learned from THP🤘🤘🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hey there's years like that it's not all about killing anyway it's why it's called hunting. If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't have killed my biggest buck in 38 years you guys are awesome keep at it and good luck
I've used that coyote howl many times to run deer off from my sets..sometimes if they don't run far enough, i start making a dog fight sound..It feels super silly when you do it..but, almost always accomplishes the task at hand!
I noticed your draw length is 31" and your arrow length is 301/2 that should be fun to draw a 1/2 inch short and falls off your rest, love your videos, Jim from las vegas nv
I've done the coyote howl in that situation before, but the deer just stopped and looked nervously. Glad it may have worked for you guys. In my experience, there's just not a good way to leave in that situation without spooking deer. Now on private land if you're in a stand or blind next to a field or road, having someone drive close to the stand to pick you up is much less spooky and has kept deer from changing their pattern for me. Thanks for the videos and keep it up.
I've been using a loose leaf type suit for years. People. They work. They help hide the human form which animals know. I've had bobcats and coyotes with 5 feet of me. I've had cows within 1 foot and they miss very little in their home pasture. The hard part is getting the bow drawn without blowing the hunt mostly.
How do you hunt in the ground kneeling for hours on end? Ive tried hunting like that and my knees and ankles and feet hurt like heck after about 30 minutes. Any recommendations?
Great hunt guys! Aaron... am I wrong in my understanding that buck decoys should be placed in a way that will offer you the best shot for a buck walking in to the decoy nose to nose (head-on)? I was always told that a buck will approach a buck decoy from head-on, as opposed to approaching a doe from behind (down wind). If there's any truth to the head-on thing, it looked like any approaching deer to your decoy would have offered quartering-to shots?
