Yes it's weird... Considering the dub version sounded really cringy... And when they said the chant in the dub... Half of it doesn't even sound right. Like a mistranslate or they just simply used different words for it that somehow didn't make it sound right.

There's really a lot of differences... When Issei's eyes glowed green and burst out that aura... and push Shalba back... And he got back up... In the Japanese version... He said,(Kore wa..) "This is...". In the Dub version he said "Who are you?". Like... And the part where he Roar and shows himself crying for Asia... Jap version. "Asia!!!!" Dub version., "I need you Asia!"? when i heard that it was so cringy... Anyway.. Basically there's alot of translation error... Japanese version of when they were surprised that Issei in JD mode can use Gasper's ability... Kiba was surprised that Issei can use Gasper power. Gasper was surprise as well... And in the dub version... If you go watch it again... i think you will know...
this is a million times better than the dub, the dub for this show cant compare to the sub, but theres a few really funny jokes that are in the dub but not sub, the HeRo remake of this scene is garbage compared to this one though.
