  • We stayed in a one-bedroom suite at a newly-constructed Residence Inn near where we live from April 26 - May 4 during our transition moving to a new home. This is a tour of our suite.

Looks like a great hotel. We may considering staying in one for vacation soon.

I'm definitely going to consider Residence Inns for future travels.

Well, this one doesn't have the lack of seating problem. That is a positive. It would be nice to get the third bed. Someone should figure out a way to make a comfortable fold out sofa bed. Looks like a nice place to spend a week!

It's definitely challenging to find rooms with three beds, and when we do, they are always considerably more expensive. I think the best alternative to a sofa bed is a Murphy bed because the mattress doesn't get folded, and can be a nice, thick, regular mattress, but those are really rare.

Just a thought but could you not have had the movers bring some old furniture to the new place and when the new furniture arrives have the old stuff removed? It looks like that would have saved you about 1K dollars.

The new furniture was delivered the next day. Also, the furniture wasn't the only issue. There were other things still being done at our new place that prevented us from being able to move in right away.
