I love Rammstein songs, where some might think, this is so deep, and it is perhaps just about annoying people who wear black sunglasses all the time. 😄 The line "What can I do about the fact that we are ugly?" reminds me of criticism, that Rammstein were inappropriate and the music were ugly. And because Rammstein loves to sing about themselves, I go with this more personal/political interpretation. Although yours was relatable, too.
