DC already kinda said regular doomsday is good when he gets smart. In the comics doomsday just kinda goes off pure killing instinct and doesnt learn however he did evolve to gain intelligence and recognition and he realised that him just killing things didnt make him happy so he started helping humans and saving them and found out it actually made him happy even becoming friends with superman and even saving his life and he even found a romance interest. However he sacrificed his intelligence to save supermans life which returned doomsday into the mindless killing machine we have today however if he ever gets actual intelligence again there is a VERY high chance he would return to the hero side.
DC comics comic writers guide to how to create the ultimate OP Supervillain: -Make him immortal so each time he got killed, he revive. -add him immunity to what killed him before. -Make him big, mean and ugly. -Give him a simple but terrifying name. Combine all of these ideas and you got: Doomsday Also: That kill was sooooooooooo Brutal!!! That was literally Overkill
I just thought of something. You may not be able to kill Doomsday physically, but you can kill him spiritually. Like say separating the soul from the body and ending the existence of the same soul. Because it is the body with the adaptation ability, not the soul, and no soul means Doomsday's body would end up a lifeless husk, no matter the physical adaptation.

I think it's cause Doomsday is unstoppable since he can't be killed for good, but I don't know how the "immovable" part applies to it.
