When you were in a sad down mood at the beginning- I really think you were probably just tired & possibly fighting off a virus. I have learned that when I get all sad & overthinking, my best path is to STOP all negative thoughts, consider if I am tired or unwell, & decide that I will do any problem solving or worrying later, when I feel better & energised. Then I just rest, keep warm & nurture myself.

I recently got accepted to a creative writing MA that would let me study in Paris for one year. Watching your videos makes me want to pursue my creative inclinations, but I definitely feel conflicted. I was also accepted for programs in computer science, and feel the societal pressure to go in that direction. Writing does feel like my ‘calling’, though. It’s what people have always praised me for, and what I have taken the most pride in.
I've only ever spent one week in Paris. I took my children and we also went to Disneyland Paris. Best time ever! Your videos always make my heart sing. 💙 Blue roses.

That thing you mentioned with just talking to each other to say happy birthday...I used to always be the one to reach out to the friends who rarely ever contacted me other than to say happy birthday/merry christmas/etc. I could feel myself drifting apart from them and like, last year I just stopped. None of them have texted/talked to me eversince then. I think a few years back I would've been bitter or sad but now I just accept that we've drifted apart and there's nothing wrong with that, and that my energy is better invested in the friends whose effort matches mine, if that makes sense.
