Great video....one of the best I've seen on Fosi BT20A Pro. Especially helpful was you showing there is no need for speaker banana clips. Thanks for sharing & providing useful info/insight!!

Does the amp switch back to the RCA connection if you disconnect from bluetooth on the device? Or can you only switch it back by holding down the volume knob? Thanks.

Good question. I've never tried that, but if I do, I'll report back. I assume the signal would automatically switch, but I don't know for sure.

if you use the pre amp out to use powered speakers do you get the benefit of getting a better sound from the speakers or not?

I think any difference in sound would be related to the speakers themselves and not so much this amp. The BT20A Pro really only serves to add a bluetooth connection, as far as I can tell.

Hello just watched your excellent video , ordered bt20a pro today , the only thing it does not have is an headphone output is there a way to get around this David uk

The BT20A Pro doesn't have a headphone amp built in. Fosi does sell a headphone amp specifically for that reason (I promise I don't work there. I just like their products). Why do you want to send a bluetooth signal to this amp and then bounce it right back to headphones when you could connect your headphones directly to the source?

Well, it's actually a valid question. Not everyone wants to use it for Bluetooth or passive speaker output all the time as per your use case.
Correct it doesn't have a headphone amp outlet it's really only the 'power' component in the audio chain with Bluetooth capability. So for that you would need to add a separate headphone amp or+incl a DAC up stream of this amp. And if that's so you probably won't need the Bluetooth part of this as that's where it really belongs, upstream of this. Or go for an all in one solution box (Dac/headphone amp/power amp/Bluetooth) .
