Today, I was shooting videos with that camera, and suddenly a small re light in the lower right rear corner o the camera started blinking. It does that now whenver I'm recording video. The videos record just fine. Can you shed light on this? Thanks.
Thank you for sharing all your findings - super helpful - I am neutral to video vs audio as a listener but as a creator I feel audio is easier because I don’t need to “get ready” 😂

Hey Meredith! I have no youtube channel or podcast, but I am considering starting a video podcast. On RUclips, I don't understand where to post it. Is it better to post it with the 'regular' videos. Or should it be posted in the podcast section? Or both? Thanks, and thank you for the great content you produce. I've been watching and learning a lot!!!!!
What I’ve noticed is that audio listeners are different than audio listeners. Each podcast type should be treated differently & edited to appease the separate audiences.

Argh girl I just went through this with a client too and it's so frustrating! We ended up doing exactly what you are with Buzz sprout and RUclips. I thought I must be missing something somewhere . Guess I'm not the only one. PS sounds like Spotify for podcasters is teaming up with Riverside. So I think this means Spotify podcasts will have to use Riverside? Not sure. Will go sub your audio podcast too. Thanks!

I'd love to know why you didn't start a separate Channel for this as from what I see in general (you have an existing audience, so may be a little different) is that RUclips podcast videos don't do that well. Love to know your thoughts on this :)
Thank you! And that is a great question. I decided to put it on my main channel because it seemed like there was enough interest in my engaged viewers that it would make sense. So far, I’m very pleased with the metrics and engagement on my podcast videos. And I’m still making my “regular” content too. I’m glad I kept it all together (for now at least!)

I keep getting subtle nudges here and there to start a video podcast. But paying for RSS feeds is not something I'd do, I'd just host it on my RUclips channel for free. Good info in this video. (I noticed a new hairstyle, very cute!) 💜

It will automatically be listed as a regular video once you post in the podcast section.
I ran into the same issues. Figured it out, but it’s frustrating and difficult.
