I always come back. When I first listened my ego understood nothing. I came back because my soul did. I listened again and tried to understand but couldn’t. It was foreign to me and my mind couldn’t grasp what K was saying. I tried but my ego began to desire enlightenment. I came back and found more videos. I listened to K like music. I didn’t focus on understanding I just listened. I listened more. Not just to K I listened to my wife. I listened to my boss. I began tending to my life. I couldn’t see K as my Guru because I couldn’t understand what that had to do with attending to my life. It was refreshing that K began many of his talks with I am not your Guru. I began living in this moment so completely the future seemed like the result of my wandering mind. I dealt with fears and my short comings. My nightmares began to fade. I understood them. When they could no longer haunt me they stopped. When fear ends dreams are just dreams. Now when I come back to K it’s like listening to something I vibrate with when the world is full of division, fear and suffering. Definitely better than many tv options. I mean I have a phone and ads are everywhere. I’ve never heard an agenda with K. He spoke of order, attention and love. Thank you K for the gems you’ve left that lights a path for those trying to find their way.
He knew the right thing with the right way, he says don't amalgamate different ways to construct a perfect way. The truth is pure, and the way is within, just find it out yourself. His explanation was clear and perfect🙏
Sorry, no. Truth is NOT different for different people. Truth is unchanging, unflinching, despite thousand years. One such statement of truth is “all human beings are one consciousness”. You are the world, there is no other, psychologically
People assume truth is synonymous with objectivity but I suspect that may be yet another mental construct. However, given I have not reached the end of spiritual seeking I’ll hold all ideas lightly. And everyone is most welcome to pursue their most meaningful path! What I’m sure we can all agree on is that Krishnamurti was the real deal & shines a light for the rest of us.
Oh my, after watching and learning from many for a few years I feel that I've gone full circle with these Krishnamurti's statements here. This is it, makes total sense to me.
MEDITATION is intrinsic to my inherent nature and i am like a flower that does not know that it is flowering. This is the teaching of Krishnamurti.YES SIR YOU ARE VERY EASY TO UNDERSTAND .thanks. i am THAT already.Only my gathered knowledge is keeping me away from THE TRUTH that i am born with. PERFECT SIR. got it.
That depends on the listeners, I think and it's not a problem for me to hear a message in any time while I'm still alive or even give an answer to your statement. Have a bit of patience and you'll see that you can wait for the green light without a horn.
The Buddha took the middle path. On 14 Qs, he did not answer at all. Neither No nor Yes. Leave it to our imagination, exploratipn OR best to not dwell about that Question at all.
I think meditation is something which is unique for every different person don't copy someone. try to find and which thing gives you peace, stillness that meditation.
Practice itself is enlightenment. There is no separate enlightenment outside of practice; our ordinary daily activities are enlightenment. There is nothing to be found outside of this. I don't know what is this" - K has put this in a very eloquent way
It's individual experience, which makes enlightenment possible, whatever knowledge which come from outside is of no use because mind goes chewing the same which you feed it.
The problem with some people is that they think they'll experience something in the process of meditation.. remember this has no End. You'll feel bliss day by day.. and one day when you actually control the mind.. means.. without thought.. that emptiness leads to enlightenment 😊
It is true that “conventional” mindfulness practices CAN lead to a dull mind I.e. a conditioned mind, as K states. But in all the traditions which K rejects, there are renegade, critical and revisionary currents which ask what is true meditation, and have developed presuppositionless meditative practices which immediately open the aspirant to the open free sky like unconditioned mind.
Meditation is stepping back from your thoughts. You see them from the outside. You realize you are not your thoughts. Meditation is applying the feminine principle of the universe to your mind.
I do not know means there are energy which can take the particular knowledge becoming restricted and bound by that form of knowledge. The same energy is formless and unrestricted right at the point 'I do not know' which makes not knowing potentially infinite while knowledge is always finite and potentially weak.
Meditación en acción I guess .
When meditating, do not identify with all the knowledge of the methods of meditation known to you, instead identify with your ignorance (the unknown). That is, meditate not knowing.
You are not attempting to find out intellectually. You can investigate something without the interference of thought, hence a goal is not created. If you are looking deeply at something while being silent inside, you are not thinking, but still examining.
K says the goal of this activity is intrinsic only in order to differentiate it from the other kind of activity where the goal is set somewhere else. The purpose of his own inquiry is also to overcome ignorance but it does not assign an outside goal like God or Truth in order to achieve it.
Like a fire that would maintaining itself outside and inside of us without intervention of nobody and nothing. Just feel the heat, and appreciate the light which are offered to enlight the darkness of your dead cold consciousness.
The problem is that we have heard so many teachers talk about what you ask and then it becomes a goal and then the goal becomes important. Discard all the teachers and what you have read or heard. The teachers and books have confused people. The irony is that we need to forget about all this stuff for no reason because if you have a reason then you have a new goal of forgetting. This whole enterprise needs to be abandoned for no reason. Don't even witness. When you actually have a problem in your life, you will need to solve it.
Very interesting point of view. But if we don't rely on any kind of technique from the various traditioins then why in the first place we should meditate? So isn't the fact of deciding to meditate is by itself a recognition that we rely on an experience of someone else?
Well what does he mean by meditation? the concept of meditation was passed on by traditions. It's very definition has been set by tradition, else it becomes just a blank word like "khfkjehfgsekfk;se", if that be the case why would i want to introspect a meaningless phrase? 🤷♂
He sounds like he is the only one who knows how to meditate. The Buddha made it clear that anyone, who wishes to attain awakening, should practice the Eight-Fold Noble Path. He kept saying it for 45 years. Only fools take His advise lightly.
Why does he even bother with the word meditation since it is not something that you practice, from his way of looking at it? Just saying the word meditation implies something you do. He starts by saying it is to ponder. Let's leave it at that. It is clearly a very spoiled word with so many different meanings and types.
You smother anything real or organic issuing from the body mind, and channel it into a very narrow concept or pattern of what you think the body mind experience ought to be, and in so doing, you lose a tremendous amount of freshness, bouyancy that would otherwise energise the meditative experience from the inside, as it were.
