This conveys that the Servant suffered as a result of the sinfulness of others-not the opposite as Christians contend, that the Servant suffered to atone for the sins of others.

Exactly, what people don't get is that in the New Testament Jesus opposed two sects of Judaism: Pharisees and Sadducees, it wasn't really about opposition to Judaism, because Jesus was supposed to fulfill judaic prophecies. And the Jews who converted to Christianity we no longer called Jews, it is simple as that. Because of that the Jewish identity later on was revolving around this false distinction - Jews were defined as those Israelites who either rejected Jesus or descended from that group of people. It was basically an evolutionary process of forming a new ethno-religious identity. Jews in the time of Jesus were neither defined by their belief in Jesus nor their lack of.
You can not be a jew and a Christian. That is a fallacy. There is followers of Christ. The Messiah, therefore a Christian and those who reject Jesus and are not.

@@RathallanIncorrect. I am Jewish by blood and it’s a spiritual distinction as well. Yeshua (Jesus) is my Lord and Savior. Modern day Christianity has largely lost its roots in its Jewish faith, in fact you cannot really properly understand the New Testament without the context of the Old Testament and understanding of Jewish traditions. I celebrate Jewish holidays just as Jesus did and as my family has done for generations. it’s very meaningful to me and I do not participate in Christian (pagan influenced) holidays. The term Christian did not even exist until long after Yeshua was crucified; the earliest “Christians” were Jews. I attend a Messianic Jewish congregation with both Jews and Gentiles who celebrate together and many gentiles find there faith in Jesus deeply enriched by learning more about the Jewish roots of our faith and develop a much closer relationship with our God as a result. I’ve actually never felt more Jewish in my life. I leave this comment so potential Jews who are exploring Yeshua are not turned off by your comment about not being able to be a Jew and a Christian. The earliest NT arguments were actually concerns that gentiles could not follow Jesus, the Jewish Rabbi and Messiah who came first for the Jew and then for the gentile.

Rejection of Christ is only temporary even though some individuals will never believe in Christ a lot of people will believe in Christ creating a national Jewish remnant of believers. It's all in the book of revelation for anybody who doesn't know.

The story of Joseph is the most powerful witness to the Jewish people; a story about how the Sons of Israel (who became the 12 tribes) rejected their own brother out of envy, because he dreamt that his brothers would all bow down to him one day. Rejected by his own brothers, he became the ruler and savior of the Gentiles, and then later revealed himself to his brothers once they confessed their sin of rejecting him. I wonder what that could that be about?

Interesting and very true story:
I met a Jewish boy online named Alexander, and we talked about how Jesus could or could not be the Messiah (he was arguing as to why he could not be), and so we would text back and forth from time to time.
He lived in Texas and went on a camping trip with some friends, and walked away to be alone for some time. So right there in the middle of the desert a man dressed in a robe came up to him and said something like:
Why are you persecuting the church?
He asked: what do you mean?
The man replied: Just because you are of the seed of Abraham does not mean you are of the same spirit.
As he was wondering how this man knew that he was a Jew, he looked around and this man was gone.
We had many more discussions about the topic of Jesus, and at one point he said that he could not deny that he was the messiah, but still kept debating as to why it could NOT be Jesus. I asked about it, I said: you told me that you can not deny it, but you are still fighting it, why? And his reply was that his heart knows, but his mind is fighting him, and one day he will have children, and if he becomes a Christian and he is wrong, God will ask him why he led children of Abraham away from faith, but if Jesus is who he says he is, and he will not accept him, than he will go to hell, and most likely his children too.
Well some time past and one morning he texted me saying that he decided to get baptized, and I could not believe it! I asked him what made him finally decide to take this step?
So he said that that night he got on his knees and asked God to reveal to him if Jesus truly is who he said he is.
That night as he was sleeping he heard a voice speak to him:
I am Jesus, what else do you need me to do to prove to you?
He stayed silent and did not reply , so the voice continued:
If today you hear my voice and you do not believe, than you will not believe believe.
Well he believed!
It was such an amazing extraordinary story that I still can’t get over it!

Mashiach Ben-David, is the Glorious Messiah, Messiah Son of David who one day will return to bring Final Redemption and will Subjugate all the Nations under Israel. This represents His Divinity and His Second Coming.

The final blessings to come from the return from Babylon was the Messiah coming sin removed and the spirit put in every believer. Those blessings were for all Gods people but was postponed because they didn’t understand what Zechariah told them and warned them about when they returned. Malachi said what to look for when the messiah and his forerunner comes for a remnant, that’s exactly what Jesus did at the prophesied time.
