I made this brief history video to set up a few future videos: The Wildlife of Orr, The Human Gods, Trahearne etc. It's tricky to fit so much into a short 10 minute vid but please let me know what you think about it \o/ I'm going to be away for a couple of weeks; I'm moving house and will be without internet. I'm going to use the time to finish up all those half-written scripts I have, but it does mean videos will be sporadic for some time still. Thank you everyone who let's me know how much you like my videos- it's a great motivator and it really does mean a lot to me. Keep an eye out tomorrow for a quick video announcement and a chance to win some gems. Until next time o/
I just got into the game, this is the only MMORPG that I would say that has a great depth of lore and great dialogue, it's very immersing and seeing people explain things part of the lore just makes me happy
What an incredible video. I've played GW2 for years now, but never cared about the story. Now that I've dug my heels in, I love the lore of this game. The way the terrain and landscapes tells stories, reminds me of dark souls. I never paid close attention to what the objects in the world mean, but now that I'm replaying the story, I'm absolutely fascinated by it.
I think it would make a cool TV series of how at least in my headcanon, the original 6 human gods starting as humans themselves, possibly a group of friends, as humans discovered the Mists and became gods, then discovering Tyria, and exploring whatever crisis or curiosity it was that led them to lead a group of humans to Tyria to colonize and build Orr and Kryta etc
Thanks for the lovely video! You addressed a lot of topics about this fascinating region of Tyria and enhanced the experience with the documentary-style narration and fitting videos which showed Orrian landscape and beings traversing them from nice angles. Keep up the good work. :)
Thanks for sharing this. I was looking for guide on meta events in Orr since i need it for achievement in "Long live the lich". Found your video instead and i enjoyed. THanks! Edit: do you maybe have another channel since you are not active here? Are you planning to record more videos or you need a break from youtube?
I edited my recent comment to add one question but you probably wont get notified so here it is. Do you maybe have another channel since you are not active here? Are you planning to record more videos or you need a break from youtube? I would really like to see more from you. Its very creative and inspiring to dig deeper in to the game lore. I am seeing Arena net promoting some quality videos in their game launcher. You definitely deserves that spot. Maybe try to contact them and ask to join their partner program.
Hiya, thank you for your lovely comments. I was taking a break from the game for a bit and stepped away from RUclips, but I have been working on videos on and off. My partnership was put on hold whilst I was gone but I'm hopeful I can get back on track now I'm looking to release videos again :)
i've always dreamt to explode arah see orr when it wasn't destroyed and much more things for some reason i wanted to see zaithan's dead body in victory or death after we oofed him because when i was very young, i saw a video of a guy falling in the water and not dying (in the quest) or getting tped so he revived his friends and they saw zaithan's dead body, i've been trying to find the video and do the glitch but i kept failing do someone else knows that video? if yes please send me the name or a link to it i miss the video
I mainly record on my thief, and use the Shadow Refuge to get about 11 seconds of stealth before anything notices me :) A lot of the time is spent waiting for it to recharge. For longer shots of enemies I sometimes just let them take me out and wait for their idle animations to reset!

The most fascinating place in GW2!
A very good and condensed overview of Orrs history presented in a calm and relaxed way accompanied by beautiful footage and music. I like it.

I'm so glad someone did this. Hope you keep doing these in future. Thank you for the awesome watch.

Oh, this is really good! I love the style of your videos, and a lore-centric series would be amazing!
Woohoo! A documentary treat before I go to bed. Lovely shots of the landscape as always, and I do appreciate the short overview of Orr's history! :D

I love your series. It is so nicely filmed and narrated. It must have taken you a lot of time and attention to make these. Thanks!

Thanks!
Awesome as always, looking forward to the other Orr-related videos!

Are you going to participate in the WP's contest?
I am brainstorming a few things (or trying to at least :D)
