All my pick for character are people rather no known, but who could be actually good for smash. Characters from Wesnoth for example. Konrad : main protagonist (of heir to the throne) who use sword, bow, but also the scepter of fire, and his leadership to recruit people. Kalenz : he is a noice elf, with also good abilities. Mehir : Is a great choice since he could show the community part of Wesnoth. Have attacks around summoning and other stuff

The Castle Crashers possible moveset: You play as a 'leader character' that is dependent on what skin you choose, there are 4 knights behind you on the z axis that are ready to listen to your commands. When knights use magic it uses mana that is constantly recharging. (Move): (reference) (Description) Jab: weak attack. 3 slices with a sword in which you do 2 horizontal swings and ending off with a vertical swing from top to bottom. Average damage, and decent knockback. (Performed by the leader) F-tilt: strong attack. You push your weapon forward, spin it, and end the move with a slam into the ground. This is a multi hit move that does above average damage, and launches upward at a forward angle with low knockback. Up-tilt: ending of strong attack. You spin your weapon above your head vertically, this move is a multi hit move with decent damage and knockback. D-tilt: the shovel item. You dig into the ground using a shovel, it can hit 2 times. Average damage and knockback, launches at a relatively low angle. Dash: strong dash attack You dive into a roll weapon first (the move is multi hit that can hit 3 times), above average damage, and below average knockback. F-air: strong attack in the air. You do a downward swing with your weapon, the move spikes and has average damage and knockback. B-air: boomerang item. You throw a boomerang behind you that always stays at the same y as the player, if the boomerang hits a grounded opponent, it will do low damage, but they will be stunned for a shirt amount of time. If it hits an arial opponent, it will do average damage and knockback. Up-air: strong attack after using a weak attack in the air. You swing upwards in front of you with your weapon Average damage and knockback. D-air: bomb item. Taunts: Up-taunt: The Crashers all start dancing and rocking out. S-taunt: The leader eats a sandwich and becomes really beefy and flexes his muscles, but then he shrinks back to normal and he looks confused as the knights laugh at him. D-taunt: The knights start to swordfight eachother and clash steel, while the leader is judging them. Skins: 1. You play as the grey knight. 2. You play as the blacksmith. 3. You play as the king. 4. I know that Fawful appears in Superstar Saga but he wasn't thaaat important in that game and I don't think you can get much material out of him from that game. And he also appears in Partners in Time as a shop owner.
As someone who never played his game, I can now see why a lot of people want him in, you make him look so fun to play with. Also, it would be awesome if you made a moveset for Chell, from Portal, she has a lot of potential, but there are very few videos on her potential in Smash, and I think you could make a really interesting character.

I'm going to assume you mean Phantasy Star Online 2. It's an important distinction. That said, give us one of the classic series reps. Alis Landale from PSI would be a good option, though would be rather derivative (see: this video) as a swordswoman/mage. Myau (also PSI would be an interesting option. Alternatively, Rika (PSIV) would be excellent, and have a fairly unique playstyle (and could bring PSII's Nei as an echo fighter or alt costume), while Rune (PSIV)/Noah(PSI)/Lutz(PSII) would allow another take on a mage character - do one, or do all three with the Hero treatment (if you've played PSIV you know why this is the case). But... realistically, there's even more of a distinction between classic and modern Phantasy Star than there is between classic and modern Sonic games, to the point where they really should be seen as separate series.
@@blueseclipse725 The reason I chose Quna & not an older rep is because the series is pretty old and the 2nd game only got released worldwide in May (I think) of this year. Plus Quna is a pretty recognizable character being in alot of promotional art for the game, crossovers & even In the anime. I guess it just comes relevancy 🤷♂️. But you got some good points there! I've been waiting for PSO2 dub for a while & jusy really enjoy Quna's character. Plus if we work together maybe we could get Quna for Phantasy Star Online 2 rep & later a rep for the first Phantasy Star Online! Never know unless we try! 😉
Request time: Terrarian: terraria Terrarian: now terraria is a very different game from minecraft, but it does have one key simularity. They both start of with nothing. The terrarian could start of with a simple copper short sword and pickaxe and axe. Gimmick: when the terrarian is on stage. Enemies will naturally appear throughout the match. These enemies when defeated, will drop gold or items that the terrarian can use to defend themselves with. As the terrarian increases in power. The strength of the enemies increase too. And the more gold they drop. And the rarer the items. Neutral special: the terrarian will use a range weapon, starting off will be the bow and arrow, next would be the flame thrower, next would be the mini shark, and lastly would be the vortex beater. Side special would be a magic weapon: starting off would be the wand of sparkling. Next would be a gem staff. Next would be the lazar machine gun. And lastly would be the nebula blaze. Up special would only have 2 options. If you have any post hard mode weapons. Your up special will be the wings. These send you straight up in a way similar to king k rools up special. If not you will use the rocket boots. It’s the same as the wings only less fast and less height will be gained. Down special will be a summon weapon. Summons will remain out for 7 seconds and will Attack all enemies. It will have a 4 second cool down before it can be used again. Firstly, it would use the finch staff, next the hornet staff. Next is the spider staff, and lastly the stardust dragon staff. All regular attacks will be using melee weapons which starts from. The copper short sword, the star fury, the terra blade. And lastly the solar eruption, it won’t have nearly as much range as in the original game but it will still go a fair distance. Other notes: if the up special is used on the ground. The character will use purchase. This is when the gold that is dropped by the enemies comes in place. Doing this will give the terrarian a random type of weapon. This will only advance the weapons in order of strength. So if you have the flinx staff, it will only upgrade to the hornet staff. It cannot jump to the stardust dragon staff. This will cost starting from 5 gold, to 10 gold, to 50 gold. To one platinum. Well that’s my thoughts on how the terrarian might be able to fight in smash. Tell me what you think in replies pls.
I would prefer him to have a simpler moveset without the "moveset building" shtick. I don't see Terraria as a survival game as much as an action game. So I wouldn't give him any complicated gimmicks. There's a guy out there who made a moveset for Terrarian, and it's perfect. Exactly how I imagine Terrarian would be represented in Smash. Important thing: nobody cares about the Terrarian itself. The armor is important, because that's what people remember. Let him wear the armor the whole time, with each alt being a different armor.

He has been my most wanted character for well over a decade. I didn't get introduced to Smash until Brawl, and ever since then he's been at the top of my list. I'm still praying for him to be one of the DLC. It won't happen, I'm sure, but if it does, I'm probably going to cry during his reveal.
Plz be rillaboom Personal move set idea: Gimmick: Grassy Surge-When Rillaboom first touches the ground he creates an area similar to what’s created by the lotus item refrencimg his hidden ability in Pokémon Sword, the area would heal 1-2% per second and would power up Rillabooms special moves while standing in the area Netrual B: Drum Beating- Rillaboom would start beating on his drum during which the neutral button can be held for a few seconds to reach maximum charge when the button is released two vines will snake through the ground until they reach a player where they will explode from the ground launching the player upward. The vines range and damage can be increased by holding the button down. If used on the terrain however the vines ,instead of launching the target, will wrap around and restrain them allowing Rillaboom to follow up with a smash attack, etc if the trapped player can’t mash out fast enough. Side B: Grassy Glide- Outside of the area this would be a simple forward charge but inside it the move gains more power and super armor as well as a new animation with a green energy surrounding Rillaboom in reference to how the move in Pokémon increases in power and priority when on grassy terrain. Down B: Rillaboom releases four green sparks that land into the ground to change where the grassy terrain is located Up B: U turn- Rillaboom quickly falls down at a diagonal slope with his foot outstretched downwards before rebounding up gaining a large amount of heigh, opponents sweet spotted during the downward part will be spiked, think of it as a reverse incineroar recovery. If done on the stage Rillaboom will however just do Incineroars recovery, a quick jump upward that can catch near by opponents followed by the angled kick,but with the chance to spike on the way down. If done on terrain the move is faster and will always spike. Final Smash: G-Max Drum Solo, Rillaboom’s signature max move. Rillaboom glows with a red energy and his hit box instantly expands. Up to two people hit when Rillaboom expands will be pulled into a cinematic final smash. In the final smash the hit players slowly stand up as the camera spins around to revel Rillaboom in its G-Max form. Rillaboom begins to beat on its drum as giant vines snake throughout the ground until they explode out of the ground in a giant tendril underneath the players.
Before Hyrule Warriors was announced, I made a moveset where all the champions worked together. I really liked that idea, and it was fun being creative because there wasn't a lot of source material of them in combat. I might think about revising it once hyrule warriors is released.

I disagree. He said to suggest a character in the comments below, and that's just what people are doing. Yeah, there's like a thousand comments but I'm sure they have a system in place for that. Like, I would imagine Ellie would record them as a job. With my experience doing something similar (though I'll admit you should take it with a grain of salt, as I don't get that many comments, but if I were to imagine having that many comments,) the main thing I look for is requests. It leads me in a clear direction of what I'm doing next.
I would really love to see Zero, Gunvolt or Rallen here, but I’m sure it’s going to be something totally different. Are you ever planning on covering Mega Man characters, BrawlFan1?

Reusing animations and concepts that already exist in Smash can be a problem, and it’s more ideal to make sure each new character is different from one another, and can explore new concepts. But sometimes going back to old concepts is kind of inevitable at this point, like you said there is already so many characters from different games that more often than not, follow some of the same tropes from one another and we’re just likely to see that again and again in the future. Even characters that could be completely new and unique that would play nothing like we have already, could possibly have at least one or two previously existing animations. It’s not always necessarily laziness or a lack of new ideas, it could just easily be as coincidence that a move a new character could be similar to one already in Smash, or even having moves that would simply just make sense for them to have, so using some similar animations might just be the best way to interpret those moves. But hey there are even times when old concepts could be combined or altered into something new, like the idea of Chrono’s Magic Sword, which is a special variant of Incenaroar’s Revenge which in of itself is a special variant of the many Down Special counters other characters have. Even the most overused archetypes in Smash, like Sword characters could still have at least one cool, new gimmick or even certain normal/special moves that aren’t all just sword swings. I’d mainly love to see more completely unique characters with unique attacks and mechanics that we don’t already have millions of examples of. But I wouldn’t mind if a character can take an old idea (or even moveset) and remix into something new or even just be combination of cool, useful moves and powers that aren’t in one character yet. I’d also love to see to certain existing elements that aren’t that aren’t used as much, like new psychic or magic users. But in the end, no matter what if the character is at least fun to use, I’d be happy. So once again BJ, another well done moveset video.
I have two questions though. 1. What exactly was your reasoning for most of the characters in the characters in the Water/Ice category since that really stumped me the most, aside from the obvious ones like Squirtle, Greninja, Ice Climbers, Inkling (ironically), I’m talking about ones like Daisy, Wii Fit Trainer, Samus, etc. 2. What exactly happens to Down Special after Chrono gets the Magic Sword buff? Does nothing happen until uses the powered up attack and/or the effect wears off?

I thought of a moveset for Crono that not only involves his allies, it integrates his four specials and final smash in a manner highly fitting of the game's combo tech system: Crono's D Special allows you to assign Marle, Lucca, Frog, Robo, or Ayla as his active ally, while his N, S, and U specials consist of Lightning, Cleave, and Cyclone, which become dual techs when he has an ally active. For example, if Marle is active, Crono's Cyclone becomes Aura Whirl, which in SSB has the property of healing Crono based on the damage it deals, while his N and S specials become Ice Sword and Ice Sword 2. Thus, all the dual techs Crono is capable of performing in CT are also available in SSB. N: Lightning/Ice Sword/Fire Sword/Lightning Rod/Megavolt/Thunder Chomp S: Cleave/Ice Sword 2/Fire Sword 2/X-Strike/Cyclone Sweep/Falcon Strike U: Cyclone/Aura Whirl/Fire Whirl/Sword Stream/Supersonic Spin/Drill Kick Crono's Final Smash, Triple Tech, checks the last two allies you set as active (if you have not, then Marle and Lucca are considered the default allies). Crono can use ten different Triple Techs: Marle + Lucca: Delta Force Marle + Frog: Frost Arc Marle + Robo: Lifeline Marle + Ayla: Final Kick Lucca + Frog: Delta Storm Lucca + Robo: Ring of Fire Lucca + Ayla: Gatling Kick Frog + Robo: Triple Attack Frog + Ayla: 3-D Attack Robo + Ayla: Twister Delta Force, Delta Storm, Ring of Fire, and Twister are area-of-effect attacks that deal damage to any opponents caught in their zone. Frost Arc, Final Kick, Gatling Kick, Triple Attack, and 3-D Attack all catch and hit a single opponent, generally for more damage than the AOE techs. Lifeline affects Crono and any allied fighters, restoring all damage once when the affected fighters reach critical damage.
I wonder if only I have requested Yugi Moto so far... Oh yeah, and I got some more ideas for him so it's easier, his Final Smash could be Slifer the Sky Dragon, and his normal attacks just normal monsters. Or maybe you could make it interesting by making the down B "Draw" to draw cards which you need to pull off certain moves, so a bit like Steve, but it's your choice in the end.
A character I came up with a moveset for I haven't seen in your list: Miriam from Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. She's a master of multiple weapons with a wide variety of special magical shards. The version I came up with had her use a different weapon for each direction and whether it was a smash or not. I chose a set of Shards that I liked to use in my playthrough, but there's a lot to choose from. I gave her Final Smash as a dual-tech type akin to Robin's combo with Chrom, but assisted by Zangetsu also from Bloodstained (since Zangetsu is not a unique name).

I have a few recommendations, but I promise it won't be a huge list as I'm sure that can be overwhelming at times. Like I said before, I wish you the best and hope for nothing but good in your future. -Duke Nukem (" ") I had previously requested Postal Dude for a moveset, but if I am going to be honest if any other FPS character were to be in smash aside from Doom Guy, it'd have to be Duke. This guy oozes personality, and considering the variety of weapons he's used from the whole franchise, spanning from his platformer days to his "Boomer Shooters" as I've heard it be referred. Considering his status as a meme and with a dead franchise currently it may not be the most popular choice, but I'm a sucker for the muscular asshole lol. -Kazuya Kiryu (Yakuza): "Yakuza is a serious crime drama about the Japanese mafia"... Is what the developers would want you to think. In reality, it's a goofy, over the top beatemup series that will make you laugh and cry all in the same game. And Kiryu is one hell of a protagonist, stoic with a good heart and even better combat skills. Considering the games rise as it becomes better known through memes, Kiryu has the skills needed to make it in smash. Besides more people should play the games, they are just great. - The Helltaker (" "): So this guy is from an indie game where has one mission: to travel through hell and to collect a demon harem. It's a short game but it has a lot of charm and personality, and I feel like you'd enjoy the writing and designs. Not super well known or anything, I just think it's neat. -Beat/Gum (Jet Set Radio): A funky fresh rollerblading game with a lot of personality, I'd love to see how someone would construct a moveset for them! I'd imagine Beat would be the main choice, but Gum could easily work as an echo fighter for the series.
This is a character I never thought you would do remembering the day I use to listen to the music of this game and I like it alot and I did play the game, on the homebrew channel, but not much but seeing this as a character to be in Smash would be awesome to see ^^

Ok i'll just add one of my personal recs here. Neku Sakuraba: The World Ends With You Neku is a regular teenage kid who dies and is taken to a different plane of reality known as the underground to play the Reaper's Game, a week-long game played by dead people to get another chance at life, in which there are seven tasks, one for each day of the week, with strict time limits and tatoo-like monsters known as "Noise" to win the game. All players (including Neku) have access to psychic powers stored inside pins, what makes neku special in THIS case is the ability to use any pin, whereas most other players have limitations on what pins they can and can't use. This is the only method players have to fight off noise, and because noise exist in two layers of reality simultaneously there have to be two people fighting them in sync, which means players have to team up with one another, in the form of "Pacts". Neku (due to circumstances i will not spoil) is forced to play for three weeks with three different partners. And by syncing up with them they have access to a powerful, usually screen clearing "Fusion attack" (which could probably work as a final smash here.)

Final Smash: I felt the final smash should have been he opens a gate and the opponents are launched into 1999 AD where Lavos does his fire from the sky attack and if they are over 99% it's an automatic KO refrencing the end of the world and 1999 and the max HP is 999. The Centurion from Altered Beast. His gimmick could be him filling up a "Beast Meter" as he deals damage (or knocking orbs of essence out of opponents that he has to collect), and when it's full, he transforms into a dfferent beast form. The beast forms could be the four beasts from the original arcade game: Wolf, Dragon, Bear, and Tiger, each with their own attacks specials. The transformation is activated with the special button and functions similarly to Shulk's Monado Arts. The transformation lasts until the Centurion loses a stock or takes too much damage.

Kalenz : he is a noice elf, with also good abilities.
Mehir : Is a great choice since he could show the community part of Wesnoth. Have attacks around summoning and other stuff

Smoke will poof in front of the red knight indicating that you dont have enough mana.

The red knight steps out if the z axis and shoots a large beam of electricity in front of you, the move drains mana quickly and can be used for 5 seconds if you have max mana. Does alot of constant damage and the opponent cannot escape once they enter the move, no knockback, but stops all momentum of you and the opponent.
IF USED IN THE AIR:
The red knight fires an orb of electricity at a 45° angle downwards, average damage and knockback.
D-special: magic + strong (fire)
NO MANA:
Dark smoke poofs in front of the orange knight, indicating that you dont have enough mana.
IF USED ON THE GROUND:
The orange knight creates a fiery explosion in front of you that does high damage and low knockback, the move has the opponent of fire for 3 seconds afterwards.

The orange knight fires a fireball downward at a 45° angle, the move has high damage, low knockback, and has the opponent on fire for 3 seconds.

The move is activated by you performing a swing upwards, any opponents hit by it will be hit up into the sky the four knights deal damage to the foes by using all sorts of attacks and magic, while the leader steps into the z axis and starts dancing, the move ends by all the knights slamming the opponent downwards into a bomb that the leader had set up below them.

The Crashers all start dancing and rocking out.
S-taunt:
The leader eats a sandwich and becomes really beefy and flexes his muscles, but then he shrinks back to normal and he looks confused as the knights laugh at him.

The knights start to swordfight eachother and clash steel, while the leader is judging them.

I'm going to assume you mean Phantasy Star Online 2. It's an important distinction.
That said, give us one of the classic series reps. Alis Landale from PSI would be a good option, though would be rather derivative (see: this video) as a swordswoman/mage. Myau (also PSI would be an interesting option. Alternatively, Rika (PSIV) would be excellent, and have a fairly unique playstyle (and could bring PSII's Nei as an echo fighter or alt costume), while Rune (PSIV)/Noah(PSI)/Lutz(PSII) would allow another take on a mage character - do one, or do all three with the Hero treatment (if you've played PSIV you know why this is the case). But... realistically, there's even more of a distinction between classic and modern Phantasy Star than there is between classic and modern Sonic games, to the point where they really should be seen as separate series.
@@blueseclipse725 The reason I chose Quna & not an older rep is because the series is pretty old and the 2nd game only got released worldwide in May (I think) of this year. Plus Quna is a pretty recognizable character being in alot of promotional art for the game, crossovers & even In the anime. I guess it just comes relevancy 🤷♂️. But you got some good points there! I've been waiting for PSO2 dub for a while & jusy really enjoy Quna's character. Plus if we work together maybe we could get Quna for Phantasy Star Online 2 rep & later a rep for the first Phantasy Star Online! Never know unless we try! 😉

Terrarian: terraria
Terrarian: now terraria is a very different game from minecraft, but it does have one key simularity. They both start of with nothing. The terrarian could start of with a simple copper short sword and pickaxe and axe.
Gimmick: when the terrarian is on stage. Enemies will naturally appear throughout the match. These enemies when defeated, will drop gold or items that the terrarian can use to defend themselves with. As the terrarian increases in power. The strength of the enemies increase too. And the more gold they drop. And the rarer the items.
Neutral special: the terrarian will use a range weapon, starting off will be the bow and arrow, next would be the flame thrower, next would be the mini shark, and lastly would be the vortex beater.
Side special would be a magic weapon: starting off would be the wand of sparkling. Next would be a gem staff. Next would be the lazar machine gun. And lastly would be the nebula blaze.
Up special would only have 2 options. If you have any post hard mode weapons. Your up special will be the wings. These send you straight up in a way similar to king k rools up special. If not you will use the rocket boots. It’s the same as the wings only less fast and less height will be gained.
Down special will be a summon weapon. Summons will remain out for 7 seconds and will Attack all enemies. It will have a 4 second cool down before it can be used again. Firstly, it would use the finch staff, next the hornet staff. Next is the spider staff, and lastly the stardust dragon staff.
All regular attacks will be using melee weapons which starts from. The copper short sword, the star fury, the terra blade. And lastly the solar eruption, it won’t have nearly as much range as in the original game but it will still go a fair distance.
Other notes: if the up special is used on the ground. The character will use purchase. This is when the gold that is dropped by the enemies comes in place. Doing this will give the terrarian a random type of weapon. This will only advance the weapons in order of strength. So if you have the flinx staff, it will only upgrade to the hornet staff. It cannot jump to the stardust dragon staff.
This will cost starting from 5 gold, to 10 gold, to 50 gold. To one platinum.
Well that’s my thoughts on how the terrarian might be able to fight in smash.

I would prefer him to have a simpler moveset without the "moveset building" shtick. I don't see Terraria as a survival game as much as an action game. So I wouldn't give him any complicated gimmicks. There's a guy out there who made a moveset for Terrarian, and it's perfect. Exactly how I imagine Terrarian would be represented in Smash.
Important thing: nobody cares about the Terrarian itself. The armor is important, because that's what people remember. Let him wear the armor the whole time, with each alt being a different armor.

Personal move set idea:
Gimmick: Grassy Surge-When Rillaboom first touches the ground he creates an area similar to what’s created by the lotus item refrencimg his hidden ability in Pokémon Sword, the area would heal 1-2% per second and would power up Rillabooms special moves while standing in the area
Netrual B: Drum Beating- Rillaboom would start beating on his drum during which the neutral button can be held for a few seconds to reach maximum charge when the button is released two vines will snake through the ground until they reach a player where they will explode from the ground launching the player upward. The vines range and damage can be increased by holding the button down. If used on the terrain however the vines ,instead of launching the target, will wrap around and restrain them allowing Rillaboom to follow up with a smash attack, etc if the trapped player can’t mash out fast enough.
Side B: Grassy Glide- Outside of the area this would be a simple forward charge but inside it the move gains more power and super armor as well as a new animation with a green energy surrounding Rillaboom in reference to how the move in Pokémon increases in power and priority when on grassy terrain.
Down B: Rillaboom releases four green sparks that land into the ground to change where the grassy terrain is located
Up B: U turn- Rillaboom quickly falls down at a diagonal slope with his foot outstretched downwards before rebounding up gaining a large amount of heigh, opponents sweet spotted during the downward part will be spiked, think of it as a reverse incineroar recovery. If done on the stage Rillaboom will however just do Incineroars recovery, a quick jump upward that can catch near by opponents followed by the angled kick,but with the chance to spike on the way down. If done on terrain the move is faster and will always spike.
Final Smash: G-Max Drum Solo, Rillaboom’s signature max move. Rillaboom glows with a red energy and his hit box instantly expands. Up to two people hit when Rillaboom expands will be pulled into a cinematic final smash. In the final smash the hit players slowly stand up as the camera spins around to revel Rillaboom in its G-Max form. Rillaboom begins to beat on its drum as giant vines snake throughout the ground until they explode out of the ground in a giant tendril underneath the players.

Before Hyrule Warriors was announced, I made a moveset where all the champions worked together. I really liked that idea, and it was fun being creative because there wasn't a lot of source material of them in combat. I might think about revising it once hyrule warriors is released.

I disagree. He said to suggest a character in the comments below, and that's just what people are doing. Yeah, there's like a thousand comments but I'm sure they have a system in place for that. Like, I would imagine Ellie would record them as a job. With my experience doing something similar (though I'll admit you should take it with a grain of salt, as I don't get that many comments, but if I were to imagine having that many comments,) the main thing I look for is requests. It leads me in a clear direction of what I'm doing next.

Thank you so much for saying this. Reusing animations and concepts that already exist in Smash can be a problem, and it’s more ideal to make sure each new character is different from one another, and can explore new concepts. But sometimes going back to old concepts is kind of inevitable at this point, like you said there is already so many characters from different games that more often than not, follow some of the same tropes from one another and we’re just likely to see that again and again in the future. Even characters that could be completely new and unique that would play nothing like we have already, could possibly have at least one or two previously existing animations. It’s not always necessarily laziness or a lack of new ideas, it could just easily be as coincidence that a move a new character could be similar to one already in Smash, or even having moves that would simply just make sense for them to have, so using some similar animations might just be the best way to interpret those moves.
But hey there are even times when old concepts could be combined or altered into something new, like the idea of Chrono’s Magic Sword, which is a special variant of Incenaroar’s Revenge which in of itself is a special variant of the many Down Special counters other characters have. Even the most overused archetypes in Smash, like Sword characters could still have at least one cool, new gimmick or even certain normal/special moves that aren’t all just sword swings.
I’d mainly love to see more completely unique characters with unique attacks and mechanics that we don’t already have millions of examples of. But I wouldn’t mind if a character can take an old idea (or even moveset) and remix into something new or even just be combination of cool, useful moves and powers that aren’t in one character yet. I’d also love to see to certain existing elements that aren’t that aren’t used as much, like new psychic or magic users. But in the end, no matter what if the character is at least fun to use, I’d be happy.
So once again BJ, another well done moveset video.
I have two questions though.
1. What exactly was your reasoning for most of the characters in the characters in the Water/Ice category since that really stumped me the most, aside from the obvious ones like Squirtle, Greninja, Ice Climbers, Inkling (ironically), I’m talking about ones like Daisy, Wii Fit Trainer, Samus, etc.
2. What exactly happens to Down Special after Chrono gets the Magic Sword buff? Does nothing happen until uses the powered up attack and/or the effect wears off?

I thought of a moveset for Crono that not only involves his allies, it integrates his four specials and final smash in a manner highly fitting of the game's combo tech system:
Crono's D Special allows you to assign Marle, Lucca, Frog, Robo, or Ayla as his active ally, while his N, S, and U specials consist of Lightning, Cleave, and Cyclone, which become dual techs when he has an ally active. For example, if Marle is active, Crono's Cyclone becomes Aura Whirl, which in SSB has the property of healing Crono based on the damage it deals, while his N and S specials become Ice Sword and Ice Sword 2. Thus, all the dual techs Crono is capable of performing in CT are also available in SSB.

Crono's Final Smash, Triple Tech, checks the last two allies you set as active (if you have not, then Marle and Lucca are considered the default allies). Crono can use ten different Triple Techs:

Marle + Ayla: Final Kick

Robo + Ayla: Twister
Delta Force, Delta Storm, Ring of Fire, and Twister are area-of-effect attacks that deal damage to any opponents caught in their zone. Frost Arc, Final Kick, Gatling Kick, Triple Attack, and 3-D Attack all catch and hit a single opponent, generally for more damage than the AOE techs. Lifeline affects Crono and any allied fighters, restoring all damage once when the affected fighters reach critical damage.

Oh yeah, and I got some more ideas for him so it's easier, his Final Smash could be Slifer the Sky Dragon, and his normal attacks just normal monsters.
Or maybe you could make it interesting by making the down B "Draw" to draw cards which you need to pull off certain moves, so a bit like Steve, but it's your choice in the end.

A character I came up with a moveset for I haven't seen in your list:
Miriam from Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
She's a master of multiple weapons with a wide variety of special magical shards. The version I came up with had her use a different weapon for each direction and whether it was a smash or not. I chose a set of Shards that I liked to use in my playthrough, but there's a lot to choose from. I gave her Final Smash as a dual-tech type akin to Robin's combo with Chrom, but assisted by Zangetsu also from Bloodstained (since Zangetsu is not a unique name).

Hey there BrawlFan, hope you are doing well and are staying safe! Another great moveset from you, and I really appreciate the creativity that came along with the character. I have a few recommendations, but I promise it won't be a huge list as I'm sure that can be overwhelming at times. Like I said before, I wish you the best and hope for nothing but good in your future.
-Duke Nukem (" ") I had previously requested Postal Dude for a moveset, but if I am going to be honest if any other FPS character were to be in smash aside from Doom Guy, it'd have to be Duke. This guy oozes personality, and considering the variety of weapons he's used from the whole franchise, spanning from his platformer days to his "Boomer Shooters" as I've heard it be referred. Considering his status as a meme and with a dead franchise currently it may not be the most popular choice, but I'm a sucker for the muscular asshole lol.
-Kazuya Kiryu (Yakuza): "Yakuza is a serious crime drama about the Japanese mafia"... Is what the developers would want you to think. In reality, it's a goofy, over the top beatemup series that will make you laugh and cry all in the same game. And Kiryu is one hell of a protagonist, stoic with a good heart and even better combat skills. Considering the games rise as it becomes better known through memes, Kiryu has the skills needed to make it in smash. Besides more people should play the games, they are just great.
- The Helltaker (" "): So this guy is from an indie game where has one mission: to travel through hell and to collect a demon harem. It's a short game but it has a lot of charm and personality, and I feel like you'd enjoy the writing and designs. Not super well known or anything, I just think it's neat.
-Beat/Gum (Jet Set Radio): A funky fresh rollerblading game with a lot of personality, I'd love to see how someone would construct a moveset for them! I'd imagine Beat would be the main choice, but Gum could easily work as an echo fighter for the series.
This is a character I never thought you would do remembering the day I use to listen to the music of this game and I like it alot and I did play the game, on the homebrew channel, but not much but seeing this as a character to be in Smash would be awesome to see ^^

Neku Sakuraba: The World Ends With You
Neku is a regular teenage kid who dies and is taken to a different plane of reality known as the underground to play the Reaper's Game, a week-long game played by dead people to get another chance at life, in which there are seven tasks, one for each day of the week, with strict time limits and tatoo-like monsters known as "Noise" to win the game.
All players (including Neku) have access to psychic powers stored inside pins, what makes neku special in THIS case is the ability to use any pin, whereas most other players have limitations on what pins they can and can't use. This is the only method players have to fight off noise, and because noise exist in two layers of reality simultaneously there have to be two people fighting them in sync, which means players have to team up with one another, in the form of "Pacts".
Neku (due to circumstances i will not spoil) is forced to play for three weeks with three different partners. And by syncing up with them they have access to a powerful, usually screen clearing "Fusion attack" (which could probably work as a final smash here.)
Loved the video even tho i didn't even play the game ;-;
Oh and heres some suggestions:
Battle cat (i can imagine its moveset being the whole basic cats put into one cat lol. The only problem to this is that youll have to play the game which is very very very VERY long till you can actually do the moveset)
Tabs unit (totally accurate unit because yes and cus its much easier to do the movesets also imagine the final smash super peasant vs dark peasant while the characters caught in the crossfire
Imposter (come on, imagine the basic and smash attacks being the kill animations and sabotages and venting being the special attacks or gimmicks)

First of all, Thank you so much for making this. Because of Geno, Crono most likely will not get in, so this was the only way my top request could remotely be in smash.

fourth, a few things I would change: Up Special: I feel it would be cleave because he goes straight up and mii swordfighters up b is the same thing. Final Smash: I felt the final smash should have been he opens a gate and the opponents are launched into 1999 AD where Lavos does his fire from the sky attack and if they are over 99% it's an automatic KO refrencing the end of the world and 1999 and the max HP is 999.

The Centurion from Altered Beast. His gimmick could be him filling up a "Beast Meter" as he deals damage (or knocking orbs of essence out of opponents that he has to collect), and when it's full, he transforms into a dfferent beast form. The beast forms could be the four beasts from the original arcade game: Wolf, Dragon, Bear, and Tiger, each with their own attacks specials. The transformation is activated with the special button and functions similarly to Shulk's Monado Arts. The transformation lasts until the Centurion loses a stock or takes too much damage.
