Dead blue whale found in Fuerteventura (Spain) during my holidays

Very sad to see how this huge whale has been removed from the sea. It happened in March 2014 and took a lot of time and effort to lift it.
It was 21 meters long and 36 tons.

It was reported that an autopsy would be performed to determine death. Did they discover the reason?
