+Jonathan Kelly Yes, all alloy wheels have some type of finish. Most are powder coated... some have a clear coat.
Bare aluminum without a coating would look horrible in a few months because brake dust (and other contaminants) would embed itself in the aluminum and it would be impossible to clean.
