Useless af. Buy a stainer for 2$. If you own a pot, can afford pasta and ingredients, and can afford f@%king water, you can afford a 2$ f@%king strainer. But if you're just too broke for a 2$ strainer (yet not broke enough for the crap bought that is used once and lost amongst the other garbage of the average home), then shit, use a plate, lid, tea pot, spatula, or f@%k, even just clip a bloody hand towel to the top of the pot edge and pour it out. Better than nothing and less risky than a plate if you don't have access to a strainer at the moment that's for sure lol. People complain it'll take awhile but when you need to get something done I'll take a lil extra time over not being able to.
