Was supposed to edit that short pause about pacifica. We’ll get ‘em next time The weapon tier list is NOT based on strength. It is based on how much I’d be willing to grind for a perfect version.
i didnt believe it at first, i instantly booted up destiny and went into a private match, i feel like im at such a disadvantage now when ill get one spawn over the other cause im running uphill 💀 also 26:42 i too have no idea what the name of it is. worst map
Yeah, sitting back and being petrified to push into map choke points out of fear of being instantly aped has never been a good strat. The only way to effectively combat aggressiveness in FPS games is be even more aggressive back. Otherwise, your team will lose the round because of poor counter play.
Nothing irritates me more than me flanking, getting 2 picks, losing the final 1v1 because I’m weak/out-cheesed/ability spammed, and then spectating my teammates just standing on the zone or sitting nowhere near enemies. The enemy team gets full rez’d with no problems and my team gets clapped in the 3v2. Hate hate hate it
I mean, if you’re getting picks and then acting on them and holding down a res or mid map, you’re contributing. If you’re just THAT guy that out snipes anyone who challenges on mid, the enemy team is going to be that much more scared to push into it. It’s only when you get out sniped every round or sit on a lane that no one goes down that you stop contributing.
every time i see a sniper on a teammate its a 50/50 chance they will either win or lose us the game lol its so painful to watch them get sniped round after round and not realise they are the worse sniper and should try something else i love to snipe in 6s, but i barely ever do it in trials, you gotta be so consistent to actually be valuable to the team
Im glad I was able to realize that after a while in trials. Im not horrendous at sniping by any means, but when the other team has a better sniper you kinda gotta swallow your pride and throw on something else if you want to win.
If you ever see me with a sniper, expect me to have good sniper instincts and positioning/timing and mediocre-at-best-if-even aim. The odds of me getting myself killed with it are just as low as the odds of me getting a kill with it. But the odds are I have k&m last word equipped and will melt people's faces well enough to trick people into thinking i use controller. I dont usually bring this loadout into trials though. I'm not a sniper guy - im a LW guy.
It really comes down to the first round. If someone gets a kill or two round one they can then play super safe since the threat of the sniper sometimes does as much as the sniper itself. But yeah if someone is getting rolled round after round its time to swap it up lol
Burnout is actually like yoshis story. The first round it starts in one position, and every other round it has a set position it starts in. There is a certain GL ricochet angle off c side door I take advantage of in particular.
I’m in a WAY lower skill bracket than Cammy, but I still fully agree that Cauldron, Exodus Blue, and Convergence are absolute trash-tier maps. This is an extremely good tier list, and one that Bungie should definitely take into consideration when assigning relative frequency to how often these maps go live in Trials.
no mention of Eternity having the most fucked up one-sided heavy spawn in the entire game? I'd like the map if they fixed that, but it's such a gigantic glaring flaw that it cannot be overlooked
Inquisitor D tier? You can max out Range and Handliing with just a litle luck. Pair that with Opening Shot and that's one of the best slugs in the game. The only thing that might be better is a perfectly rolled Gunnora's Axe. Alsot the LMG with Subsistence/Killing Tally is really good for PvE.
I've played consistently every weekend over the past year. Before season 20 I never really played trials and a lot of the maps are new to me in a 3v3 setting, so I've played a lot just to build map knowledge, then see if I can go flawless on them which I pretty consistently can. This weekend is the first time I've skipped by my own choice; I do like endless vale, but it can be annoying and the loot doesn't motivate me enough to deal with it, especially in this meta, I already have excellent adept GL rolls. The previous weekend cemented Anomaly as one of my least favorites. Jav-4 is my all time favorite, and I actually liked Midtown quite a bit.
Endless Vale is the one map Ill play purely for practice regardless of loot. Just so happened I hit the jackpot and went flawless the weekends of Immortal (Adept) and Cataphract (Adept) Given this map is the map I most consistently go solo flawless, Ive jokingly called myself "the Guardian of Endless Vale," LOL
Hey Cam, why do you use 5 and 1.0 sens on controller? Have you tried using a lower ads modifier for a higher camera turn speed when not aiming. Good content as always man
1:26 as these banned maps can suck when winning matters and degen play styles can give an easy straightforward path to victory they can still be extremely fun. Would like to see more chaotic just for fun maps in destiny 2 tbh just keep ‘em out of my the comp playlists the variety would be really refreshing.
I honestly like Meltdown and Pacifica. But that’s mostly because they were both running the last week of last season’s Trials weekend and that was a fun Heliocentric time for me. Fucking hate Burnout because of the sniper tunnel and somehow managing to find a new ledge+angle combo that I can’t mantle every other round. Also because the janky vex walls make stick grenades significantly less consistent. Endless Vale has been real fun this weekend. Been playing it for fun after I got my flawless card. Been fun getting people with the Hunter Glaive, because that weapon is just stupid (alternate fire is the free-est instakill in the game outside of Cloudstrike collateral). Apart from a few games of teammates who are dedicated to challenging a sniper with an auto rifle in the same spot every round or people trying to punch a warlock standing in a well instead of shooting the well… yeah, this map’s real fun.
Idk if it's because I'm a dirty shotgun goblin but I've already loved Anomaly and done well on it. I do think that stasis and strand have completely broken the map tho. Outside of that maps where map control is less important or plays into the blueberries strats seems to be better for solo que
I really don't understand the difference between "Best loot; Tolerate" and "Good loot; Still avoid". Isnt that the same catagory? You'll play it if the loot is the best, but avoid it if it's just good. Am I missing something?
@@ilrvwylol But since there's also a "Good Loot, Tolerate" tier, that implies that those in the "Best Loot, Tolerate" tier would not be tolerated if the loot was only "good."
Exodus Blue is my least favorite map to ever play Trials on. Ive had 4 or 5 total Flawless passages on that map but have hated every single second of it lol
Yeah it's kinda crazy considering that most trials weapons have some special magic and if we are comparing inquisitor to other legendary slugs it clears all of them out except heritage which I would say it preforms as good as inquisitor
endless vale is a horrible map tbh not fun at all, after seeing burn out not at top made me realize you are probably the type of player no one wants to play with

How about a video of your opinions on maps that are still vaulted? R.I.P. Donut.
Over here thinking I’m making good plays only for Cammy to call them out as non-contributing behavior 😭
We all out here feeling personally attacked today

How many blueberry non-contributors am I allowed to claim on my taxes?
Always love hearing your opinions on it Cammy
Halfway through the video and cammy already had every map where I would put them on the list to a T, this man truly knows this game
I concur that the radar and blueberry habits 100% dictate my enjoyment of these.
The blueberry non contributor slander is killing me 😭💀 ironically love rusted lands (strand hunter)

Looking at the sample of the tier list I completely agree as a purely solo trials player.
I got good at sniping by ego peeking main lane on endless vale for a whole weekend lol

Do you have a guide or tips to Altar of Flame playstyles? I always struggle on that map in almost every 3v3 gamemode

To have the sensitivity consistent between ads and hipfire helps to maintain hipfire accuracy.
You know I got my loot priorities straight when I only want one weapon from s and d.

Why tf is Inquisitor (best in slot slug pvp) at the bottom tier??
max range, max stab, max handling and decent aim assist
