in case anyone is running into this deck on ladder, it's worth mentioning something I learned from Dane yesterday: If you have no empty mana crystals, your opponent can't steal them. So if your opponent plays Summer Flowerchild, you could just not play anything on the following turn, so when they play the doomkin, they don't actually steal a mana crystal. I know "just don't play anything lmao" isn't always the appropriate course of action, but it's an interaction I'd bet most people don't realize and it's definitely worth taking into consideration
Huh, I was expecting Dane’s take on this deck, where it’s just Dorian, Doomkin, Summer Flowerchild, and Eonar. Use Oaken Summons to get Dorian, then Flowerchild and other draw to get the Doomkins and Eonar.
I'm sure the version Dane cooked is coming eventually. As long as it doesn't get nerfed next patch. He's really got a talent for cooking so hard Blizzard drops the banhammer
if someone could explain how summer flower child still reduces mana cost id like to know. such a crazy card for what it does and how easy it does it and for how little mana.
I never got why people liked Doomkin. He's amazing on turn 6 exactly (or 5 with the coin), terrible to keep in the mulligan, terrible to get turn 10 onwards. Passable to play like turns 7-8. Seems a kinda narrow window.

You’re not going to always draw doomkin on curve. Sometimes you draw it later.
